Ahh you were not kidding about Tsukiatte Agetemo... I recently got to the part where
and I was NOT expecting that at all. It really feels like this manga has so much to say, and I'm really excited to read more~ Like, I really thought I knew where things were going but I absolutely did not!! There's also just so much nuance in how these characters talk about relationships, especially when it comes to wlw relationships... I find it so relatable. It's almost so real that it feels uncomfortable (in a good way), if that makes sense?

So when
it honestly cut me so deeply because it was just so raw and honest and I almost couldn't handle it. I really really felt for Miwa and Shiho in different ways... That was actually where I decided to take a little break, just to sit with it a little. As much as I want to immediately read all the way through because the writing is that good, it's a bit too much of an emotional manga for me to be able to do that, personally.
But I'm excited to read more~ when I'm emotionally recovered and not getting distracted by other animanga, whoops

I'm also so so glad to hear you're getting so much out of Ani no Yome, seriously, nothing makes me happier than knowing someone is reading it and really sinking in to the character exploration it offers~ ♡
And you're so right that the story is subtle... Without spoiling anything, I can say that one of the things I love about it, is that it never really gives you clear answers on what is the right or wrong way to cope with grief and loss, and it doesn't give the characters any easy answers to their grief. It really forces you to sit with the characters and everything they're feeling, no matter what that is. Now that I think about it, I feel like Amayo no Tsuki is really similar in that respect! (Not to gush about how good Kuzushiro's writing is again, but yeah~)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts as you continue (if you'd ever like to share).

Right! These guys are often written as impossibly perfect, which just doesn’t feel realistic. Every relationship has its ups and downs, but some stories go out of their way to paint the lesbians as villains. A more balanced portrayal would make things feel more authentic. I’d love to see a story where the lesbian wife realizes her attraction to women but struggles with how to tell her husband, that kind of raw, emotional conflict would feel much more real.

Ame demo Hare demo is really great and lovely! I first fell in love with the art style, it has such a light and beautiful feel but the story is what really kept me hooked. Just be careful not to read the wrong Ame demo Hare demo, there are two versions. The first one was discontinued because the author left the publishing company after they tried to push the series in a more sexual direction. The remake is way better, so if you’re finding it really cute so far, you’re probably reading that version. ^_^

I agree that Mikazuki to Neko fits MAL’s guidelines, so I don’t see why there should be any issue with it.

I haven't watched too many precure anime yet. I only watched Go! Princess Precure, Soaring Sky! Precure, Star☆Twinkle Precure, Witchy Precure!, Heartcatch Precure! and Wonderful Precure!

My favourites are Mashiro x Sora and Mirai x Liko. I am also currently watching Star☆Twinkle Precure and I really like the dynamic between Lala and Hikaru!
