I tell people how to grow plants and my life mirrors Silver Spoon to a scary degree. Yes, my rating system is weird. Just picture my rating system as an 'order of recommendation' for people who enjoy the same things in anime as I do, with 10's being my first recommendations going down to 5's. A show with a score of 1 is in my personal Hall of Shame and there was some very specific aspect to the show that I hated. For what I enjoy, I love seeing characters develop and grow and shows that have interesting writing techniques. A show not having deep, developing characters is not automatically a dealbreaker, (see Akudama Drive and Jojo for examples), but it is usually much harder for me to score those shows highly. 107146

Thank you for the recs! It looks like you put a lot of time into them. I haven't gotten to any of them yet, but I'll have all 3 completed over the next month or so. I'll let you know what I think after completing them, but for now I'm liking the way they sound. Thank you for including a hot-head lol. Hope 2024 treats you well.
I'd thought I would just thank you first and foremost for the lovely recommendations you have given me for my secret Santa gift, I've been very busy and haven't had the time to watch all 3 of the animes you have recommended me but I have started on one of them "Sound of the Sky" which is exactly right up my alley so you were bang on that recommendation. I will update you once I complete the other animes but in the meantime, Thank you so much man, hope you have a good 2024!! :)
I've been really busy over the christmas period, so you'll have to forgive me for not finishing your recs yet, although please rest assured that I will, because both of the shows you suggested to me seem extremely interesting and exactly up my alley.
March Comes in Like a Lion is really promising, and I'm already a fan of the directing style and the art style. I'm definitely looking forward to following the story, and I'm honoured that you'd recommend me your favourite anime of all time. It's also very interesting because it's set in Tokyo, where I live! (although I suppose that's not relatively uncommon for an anime series...)
As for your second recommendation, Eccentric Family, I'm really enjoying it already. It's super stylish, and I think the characters are super compelling. It's not a series I'd heard much at all about before, but I''m really glad you recommended it to me.
