I read that the manga finished a while ago. I think the studio is planning to adapt the manga little by little into seasons. I understand what you are trying to say, but there is still time to give more of the atmosphere of a horror adventure, which I think so far has been explored maybe a little too fast; such as that scene with Yuzuriha and how she used another criminal to read her surroundings. I was surprised when that Asaemon was killed so effortlessly by the giant.
I mentioned it to someone before, but Jigokuraku gives me Kimetsu no Yaiba vibes. It has that aura that says to not get attached to any character.
