Hey there! I'm a huge anime fan who loves stories that are deep, emotional, and thought-provoking. Here's a little about me: 🎬 Favorite Anime: Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan): This is the anime that had me hooked from start to finish. The suspense, the twists, the world-building—it was a wild ride I’ll never forget. For me, the ending was absolutely perfect and made complete sense. A true masterpiece that defined my love for anime. Jujutsu kaisen:Even though I was disappointed by the ending, JJK still stands as my favorite new-gen anime and manga—and my second favorite of all time. The character development, especially for Gojo and Yuji, is incredibly well done, and the story as a whole is consistently strong. The anime, in particular, elevated the entire experience, especially during the masterpiece that is the Shibuya arc, which felt like the true climax of the series. More than just an anime, JJK deeply impacted the way I see the world. It taught me that "nothing is purely black or white—everything exists in shades of grey." There are no true villains or heroes, only individuals shaped by the environment they grew up in. That perspective has forever changed how I understand people and the world around me. Naruto: The very first anime I ever watched—and the one that kickstarted my whole anime journey. It left a deep impression on me and will always hold a nostalgic and meaningful place in my heart. Evangelion:I only discovered this gem in 2024, but it left a permanent mark on me. The deep themes, the psychological complexity, and its raw exploration of depression really helped me personally—and also helped me better understand others. It’s an anime that goes way beyond the screen. HXH:In my opinion, this is the most well-developed shonen of all time. The Chimera Ant arc is a narrative masterpiece. HxH was also one of the very first anime I ever watched, and it still holds a special place in my heart. FMA brotherwood:Even though I binge-watched it in just three days, I absolutely loved it. I have to it—it truly deserves its place as one of the greatest anime of all time. 🎭 Genres I Love: I’m drawn to action, psychological, and philosophical genres. Anything that gets me thinking, challenges my perspectives, or explores complex emotions is something I’ll likely enjoy. I also enjoy romance, Isekai, ecchi, and sports anime! I love mixing it up and diving into different worlds and stories, no matter the genre. 💬 Open to Discussions: If you share similar tastes or have recommendations, feel free to reach out! I’m always up for discussing animes, theories, or just talking about our favorite characters and moments. ⏳ Temporary Inactivity: For personal reasons, I won’t be logging in for the next 3 months at most. Thanks for your understanding! 2f5y25

Hey!

It's been a while, hope you're doing well!
I finished JJK, and you definitely didn't exaggerate at all.
The flashback alone removed any doubts I had in the beginning, and the Sukuna fights… I don’t even know if I have words for what I witnessed there :D

The first few episodes of the Shibuya Incident were my highlight. It didn't even felt like an anime anymore and more like a documentary about a disturbing real-life event or something. It was just so intense and well directed. The whole arc is definitely one of my favorites of all time.

Anyway, don't want to write too much, because I now have a new manga to read.

Oh, good luck with your exam! I know you'll do amazing (I'll be cheering for you!)

And don't worry, I'll try to have a lot more to share about all the stuff you recommended by the time you come back!

See you ~
fantomshuriken May 24, 11:09 AM
Yep! I was expecting that for sure, idk what were the exact details that gave it off but some things I guess you can just see from overall vibe of a person.
And there's also the fact that you're super respectful and understanding of other's opinion and I know that because I talked a lot about some anime you really liked and not in a good way xD but you were still really nice about it, you even paid attention to my takes and opinions despite them conflicting your own's so that's for sure was also a giveaway. People who are nice and accepting are the type who are good at interacting with others (fairly so because it's a lot more welcoming to talk to someone who is willing to listen and understand your opinions despite thinking otherwise).

Yes, I have watched it and I quite liked it myself. I am really looking forward to s2, I also loved the opening of s1 btw it was nice!
The end eps were the best part tho! really loved the action.
fantomshuriken May 24, 8:22 AM
Does it really?
Your personality type does seem to be pretty good at leadership/dominant and being very logical (which you seemed like you really were), also as expected you're an extrovert (I could tell for sure xD).
All in all seems like you have a great personality! (I knew that already but still)

I'll honestly be very happy for any rewards Dandadan gets too! I genuinely loved it a lot as well so yeah.. but hard to be optimistic when solo leveling and frieren are there lol

Have you seen Kaiju no.8 btw? You didn't say anything about it. Is it because you didn't like it or haven't watched?
fantomshuriken May 24, 7:42 AM
Ooo I see! make sense to be honest. I'm INFJ.

I loved steins gate a lot but characters wise, I wasn't like a super fan of any of them as much. Don't get me wrong it has good characters but none I would say like oh I really loved this character or something but if I had to pick someone, it'll probably be Kurisu for sure!

I looked up the nominees and personally I'll be very happy as long as anything wins besides frieren or solo leveling.. heck even solo leveling is okay just not frieren.
If I had to pick my best, it would 100% go to apothecary diaries! But I know that either solo leveling will win because it's way too popular among the more generic audience and kids or it's going to be stupid frieren which for some reason everyone gonna vote on so yeah, I'm not that optimistic but we'll see I suppose.
fantomshuriken May 23, 11:13 PM
I agree! opposites do attract, I myself tend to like someone who is complete opppsite of me as well lol
It's a well known personality test, I thought if you knew I would ask which one you were but it's okay!

I don't know about that xD but if you say so.

Yes I gotta agree as well, steins gate in general have so many of those cool moments and that's what makes anime really good!
But here's the real question, who is your fav character from the series?
fantomshuriken May 23, 1:12 PM
I see I see, I guess you're pretty chill and laid-back yourself then? or no?
Actually on that note, have you ever heard of mbti?

I'm not gonna make myself to be this all so suffering person, I think everyone have their own struggles they cope through in different ways but yeah it is because of my own experiences that I do feel comfort in seeing a character who has suffered grow and find happiness, just gives me a sense of happiness I suppose.
Damn I'm actually not that mature, I'm pretty dumb and do many dumb things but sometimes I just speak at least what I have experienced. But damn I feel so old now..almost having my quater life crisis, sometimes I can't believe I'm already 24.. just feels liike I haven't seen anything at all and years just ed by lol

I was expecting that you may also like psychological stuff, but horror is a surprise for sure.. I do know a horror show you might like but seems like I already reccomended you a lot and you're busy so maybe I'll hold off on that for now xD

Yes I have seen it and I think it was a really good anime, the built up takes a bit but it gets really better in later half. My personal fav moment from whole series was the movie where okabe was supposedly not existing anymore and everyone supposed to not have his memeories whatsoever AND YET, Kurisu re him eventually and that part to me was the best thing!! I loved it so much... just thinking that you love someone enough to them even when the world itself is against you and your own memories.. its just peak, its just beautiful, I just feel like if I ever love someone I wanna be like that (kinda unrealistic but you know xD)
fantomshuriken May 23, 5:45 AM
Damn you love your hot waifus huh xD

But it's true that having a waifu/husbando in an anime is way different from what you'll like irl tho because from an anime perspective, you get to see everything about the characters.. their story, background.. motivations literally everything and besides since media is so overused we all prefer things that feel more special and different from usual so we tend to like unique things in media BUT irl that's completely different, we only usually get to see the upfront personality of someone not their entire life story xD as well as the fact that most ppl can't have same insane bizzare uniqueness because we all kinda normal realistically at least at a base level, so it's very different.

Personally I have a big soft spot for characters who have suffered a lot and still fight through it to be a kinder person but irl its ofc very different, even if there is someone like that I just can't know that because as I said we mostly only see the upfront personality at most even if you close, you can only know so much. And besides expecting something like that just seems unreasonable reaslistically.
That's why all I want is just someone who can have genuine feelings and care for me, you know when I was little younger (okay sorry for another life segment xD)
but when I was younger a bit, I used to have all this expectations and preferences as a girl for a partner but the more I went through life I learned, you can have all the things you prefer in a person (personality or sucess or whatever wise) but if that person just don't love you.. all of it doesn't matter and its very hard to find the right person who can do that and for you to love them as well so now I just only care about what's more important.

Yay! I'm glad I'm finally getting a good idea of what you like! so I can recommend you stuff that you'll enjoy.
I also really liked shangri la btw, was really fun.. I feel we didn't have any good game based animes with actual action and good plot devices but shangri la does it well so definitely one of the better shows out there!
Monster you may dislike a few things but I think overall you'll like it for sure also I know I said you'll like sumertime render but I'm very curious what you will think of it becuase it is kinda weirdly unique type of anime, so do let me know your thoughts on that for sure!

Ah for school days take your time, it's not a good experience anyways xD

(Also I'm sorry for always typing super long texts lol, idk I try to hold back but somehow I always type too much...)
fantomshuriken May 22, 3:20 PM
Okay it's easier to guess than it is to describe but I'll try my best, so from the waifus you did mention. I got an impression that you liked strong women and by "Strong" I don't mean being physically or mentally strong rather someone who is very good at something, either super smart or super talented or just in general leaves a very strong impression and all of the ones you mentioned kinda fit the bill, meanwhile I think you wouldn't dislike a character who is just super cute shy hardworking type but that won't be your waifu following your trend at least xD

I can give you an example from the anime you have seen and have not told me anything about in sense of waifus, so for example lets take 2 romance anime horimiya and kaguya-sama, you're definitely the type who would pick kaguya over hori any day (because kaguya has that unique personality going for her that leaves a lot more stronger impression than someone like hori who is quite charming and hardworking yet wouldn't be your pick)
But again this is all guessing on my part so I could be completely off the mark xD

As for your anime taste, you have said many times how you dislike basic and unoriginal stuff, so I'm inclined to believe you definitely like unique stories a lot more and if it has action on top all the more better.
I think something like Monster, summertime render or even shangri la frontier are some you might like, idk if you have watched any of them or not but I tried to pick not as popular and stuff I don't know if you have seen to give a more clear picture.

Ah nooo....xD the reason I watched it was also because I was curious why everyone hated it so much lol, and yet the cycle continues.
I'm not sure if I watched remake or original, I think it was original tho but after you watch through if you manage to do so that is, the ending I watchedd at least felt somewhat satisfying after going through that absolute hell hole of an anime.
fantomshuriken May 22, 2:09 PM
Really? well this is the first, usually all the ppl I talk to have a lot harder time figuring what I would like except from a very basic generic level like saying I like romance but I literally declare that out loud so yeah it's interestting you could guess so well.

I think I may be able to guess your anime tastes but characters I'm not that confident in personality wise, maybe I can guess what waifus you like because I noticed a pattern but yeah not quite fully there yet.

Funny almost everything you mentioned I haven't seen so I can't even comment much lol, fruits basket I'm a little shocked for sure tho, I thought it was just a cute wholesome romance not sure what to hate but maybe there's something I missed I guess.

Apparently I have seen Vermeil in Gold, but I don't anything much lol, but it is in my list xd
I guess it was just forgettable I suppose.

Theres only 1 anime that I utterly despise and hate with a ion and is worst thing to be made and don't worry, no one could possibly enjoy that garbage. And don't even think about it checking it out, its better if you don't specially considering even tho the name is "School days" it's quite 18+ and not in a good way.
fantomshuriken May 22, 12:19 PM
Ooo I guess we have that in common too then!

Yeah I really liked that Misato was the only person who genuinely tried to take care of shinji as an adult and she did her best, even died and I have great respect for that!
Also, damn how do you know tho.. I thought you were gonna guess more further away but you were way too close.. how do you know lol
(I didn't think I was too easy to read but hmm)

True! But it's great you have your top 5 sorted out at least.

I do have a question for you btw, and I'm very curious about it : What do you think is the worst anime you have seen so far?
fantomshuriken May 22, 11:43 AM
Yes, it's midnight right now. I'm a night person so xD love to stay up late.

You were close! Shinji was my 2nd favorite but my most favorite was Misato, loved her personality though she was kinda dumb at times.. all in all she was the one who always stayed true to her values and what she wanted to protect or fight for I guess. And she saves shinji too! that moment and whole stuff with her was amazing!

Um I am not sure myself where it's in my rankings, I never rank my top 10 because I struggle too much to decide xD
All I'm certain of is fairy tail is in my number 1, everything else is my fav is something that I really really love but not sure about their rankings.
fantomshuriken May 22, 10:31 AM
It's not in Europe, it's in south east asia.

I do totally! I feel like I had some time to collect my thoughts now...I think it's gonna be one of my fav anime too.. the more I think about it the more I like it specially the actual grief and depression is shown so so very well so I think it's in my top 10 for sure, I personally loved the original anime more but I also loved the movie A LOT!! too so yep also sorry to bring this up again but felt the need to mention this as well, me watching this anime right now hits even more because I can relate a lot more to it given my current circumstances and I felt so much emotion from it all.. and that just proves how well of an anime it is!

I also loved the music a lot! the op is absolute peak, I didn't skip it a single time while watching all the eps!

My favorite character, actually do you have a guess? I'm curious who do you think I would have liked?

Yeah after thinking about it, I did realise the uneasyness is what makes it feel all the more real and amazing, fascinating would be the perfect word!
fantomshuriken May 22, 1:13 AM
Thanks!

Oh that's really nice! that means you got more options if you wanna study abroad in future. Here most of universities are english speaking already and english is here mandatory to learn because we have too many cultures and too many different regional languages otherwise so yeah.

About Evangelion, it was quite a ride for sure... I'll talk about the normal anime first : I personally loved it, The story itself was so unique and had so much meaning behind, all the hidden messages made it all the more interesting.. it was a very well written story 100%. Aside from that all the animation, music all that stuff was great too for that time, even now years later I enjoyed it so much.
But for me the best part was the characters, I never seen an anime show such deep sad emotions that well that it felt so real.. and every character had their own flaws, personality feelings that were shown so very well and genuine.. like I can't stress this enough but all the characters felt so much more human like not to say other anime don't do that but not quite on same level as this, and I loved that a lot about the anime... they all just felt like genuine human beings with their own ambitions, feelings and struggles than characters in an anime.
Also I know you said the last 2 eps weren't the good ending for anime and I would agree, they weren't a satisfying ending at all but nonethless those 2 eps in my personal opinion were peak... it was so well done, the depth they shown of each character's insecurities, dark sides and general feelings were amazing! dare I say I even related to it but I assume most ppl do feel sad, uneeded or just depressed at some point of their life.. we all go through it and cope in our own ways, knowing that and seeing them give the same msg felt so much meaningful.

As for the movie...umm I'm actually still collecting my thoughts, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Don't worry I made an effort to read some reviews and other comments on it so I'm pretty sure I am not confused and have a decent idea of what exactly happened even so I feel a bit lost not because I don't understand what happened but I just don't know how I feel about it exactly.
I know one thing for sure that the movie end was really amazing! when asuka and shinji are the ones who chose their individuality over becoming the union.. that was peak! and in general I was definitely very fascinated by the whole movie even though some of it at first felt so bizzare and idk weird.
I know I loved the movie and was totally fascinated by the details and the end but for some reason I feel this weird uneasyness about it all and I'm not quite sure why or in what way even that's why I feel like I'm still not sure and collecting my thoughts on it.

This is the first time I have been left so speechless tho and for multiple reasons and idk what to make of it, I think I just need more time to fully process how I felt about the movie lol.
fantomshuriken May 21, 3:11 PM
Thanks so much!

It is a bit hard to make the right decision tho specially right now saying that it's been a bit rough few months would be an understatement so I'm just gonna focus on the exam studying and watching anime xd, makes it easier to go through.

So which year are you in btw? do you guys have 4 year bachlor's course there as well or is it different?
It’s time to ditch the text file.
