It’s honestly no surprise you liked it, I’ve literally never heard a single negative thing about JJK Season 2. And yeah, for me too, it’s one of the best arcs of all time.
But I do want to give you a little heads-up: Shibuya is basically the peak of the series. The Culling Game arc is solid too, and the final arc still has its hype moments, but the real issue is the ending.
How can I put this nicely… it feels rushed, and a lot of plot threads are left unresolved.
So yeah, I just wanted to warn you, the ending might end up disappointing you (it definitely let me down, especially considering how much I love this series).
If you want my advice, I’d say stop after the Gojo vs Sukuna fight (chapter 236). But hey, feel free to finish it if you’re curious!

As for this season’s anime, I’ll only recommend the ones I think are the best: Fire Force season 3, Wind Breaker season 2, Lazarus, Swords of the Demon Hunter, and Devil May Cry (Netflix series). They’re all pretty different, but I think you’ll end up liking at least two of them.

No worries, I’ve also been super busy lately so I totally get it and sorry for the late reply too. I’m keeping up with a few weekly mangas like Dandadan, Blue Lock, and sometimes Chainsaw Man. And yeah, monthly releases can be easy to forget—like for me, it’s The Eminence in Shadow.

As for Jujutsu Kaisen, I 1000% recommend it. Season 2 starts with a flashback arc focused on Gojo’s past, which is super important for the rest of the story. It’s only 5 episodes long but honestly, it’s even better than the movie, with some legendary scenes.

Then there’s the Shibuya arc, which is straight-up the climax of the whole series, both in the anime and even up to the manga. Its rating on MAL proves it, and it even won 11 titles at the 2024 Anime Awards (which is the record so far). The animation is insane, the action scenes especially with Sukuna will literally have you jumping out of your seat. And the deaths... man, if you haven’t been spoiled, they’ll seriously hit you hard. That’s why people call it the Shibuya Trauma.

It’s basically a battle royale arc with an intensity you rarely see in shonen anime (and I’m definitely not the only one who thinks that). So yeah, it’s way better than Season 1 and the movie in every way. I highly recommend it!

I totally get that feeling! I've had the urge to read the next chapter immediately with Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and Solo Leveling. Right now, I'm following Dandadan, Tensura and Blue Lock, and they are keeping me hooked!
Speaking of manga, do you prefer reading weekly series as they come out, or do you wait to binge multiple chapters at once?

Solo Leveling was definitely a highlight this season! As for next season, I’m looking forward to Go! Go! Loser Ranger, MHA Vigilante, Wind Breaker, Lazarus, Virgin Punk, The Beginning after the end, Fire Force and Kowloon Generic Romance. Hopefully, there will be some hidden gems too!

In general, the anime I’m most hyped for are Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, One Punch Man Season 3, Spy x Family Season 3 and Dandadan season 2. And that’s just the beginning—there are so many exciting things coming up!
