Huge western style comic book fan, but never really cared for Anime or Manga in general. After having a discussion with an anime fan, I realized the arguments I had against Anime and Manga were the same type of arguments that I rallied against when leveled at western comic books (not just superhero stuff, but the form of graphic storytelling in general). Thus I am trying to open myself up to the possibility that I was wrong about anime, and am using this site to try and help separate the wheat from the chaff. Because I know nothing about anime much otherwise.
