Hello! My name is The Anime Logician, you can call me TAL for short :D 4436c
For starters I am a huge fan of Anime and have been watching anime since I was eight years old. I am currently twenty-seven years old, so therefore that would mean I've been watching anime for eighteen years! I've watched over four-hundred anime titles and one of my hobbies is reviewing anime and having fun dissecting it and putting it back together with my analytical and critical thinking skills. I also have a ion for Reading, Learning, Manga, Comics, Books, Gaming, Art, and many other things that revolve around the geek interest. I love all types of music, but my favorite genres are Metal, EDM, Country, Rap, Pop, and Hardcore. I'm what most people would consider what a gifted genius would be, but most times I'm just a lazy, chill, and nerdy guy who loves experiencing new things. If you want me to review an anime or do something in the realm of content making, then HMU at my channel or send me a PM I'm very open-minded and will always be glad to teach someone something new :D Btw I'm also an INTP, so expect what you will from that information. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdcOxy3ofpgAQPYJ2aWc3cw/videos 5i402s

Yeah the Castlevania anime was great, they definitely try to make it appeal more to a western audience, not that that was a bad thing. And it looks like the series will still be going strong for a while, Netflix is doing that and the One Piece remake. You looking forward to it?
I'd have to come up with a definitive list for myself, though I will say that my all-time favorite game is Castlevania 64. And if you know anything about that title you can imagine all the heat I get from that opinion. Since a lot of people felt it was one of the worst games of the franchise that didn't age very well moving into 3D. Personally though I feel it's aged like a fine wine, yes it definitely has its camera problems but it's also a lot better than other people . Its certainly no Bubsy 3D I can tell you that. XD Have you played any of the Castlevania games?
Yeah it's a great series! I too don't meet many people who know about it so it's a pleasure to be able to geek out with someone who does appreciate it. I really hope that someday we'll get a new entry in the UNIST series.
Random question, what would you say your top games of all time are?
Yes that was definitely my favorite feature of the OG Xbox, oftentimes if I didn't like some of the music playing in the games, especially some of the boss battle music, I would just simply import my own and play it at the right time. Man do I miss that old console. It was the best Microsoft ever produced in my opinion. Did you own a lot of original Xbox games back in the day?
I can understand how you feel. For me personally I'll probably end up getting a Switch 2 for a number of the games that will be released on it, and will probably enjoy it, but at the moment I'm in no hurry.
Bro it's a pleasure to meet another fan of Under Night. Recently discovered it a few years ago and boy was I addicted. I do agree with you though, it's sad to see that Nintendo is even starting to get very greedy. A lot of the Fanboys are saying it's because of the tariffs, but Nintendo has come out themselves to say that has nothing to do with their price increase. They simply chose it because they felt that's what the quality of their system and games were worth. I don't know if you heard but Microsoft, unsurprisingly is following suit. They just announced yesterday that all their systems will be raised by $100 and that games will reach $80 by Christmas. Ugh!
Not sure if I played that particular demo disc. I I got volume 8 with my PS1 back in 1999 that had Spyro the Dragon, WWF war zone and medieval to name a few.
You really should. It does sort of connect the story to a satisfying conclusion. They even got the original English voice actors to come back to perform their roles. Although I could see them making more and more seasons since Slayers can kind of sort of never end. XD
Awww that's really a shame, I had no idea that they died in a plane crash. Twisted Metal was such a fun series too. How do you feel about modern gaming these days by the way?
Slayers did get a reboot, my gosh has it already been like 15 plus years or so?!?! That one seem to be well received and the visuals look stunning even by today's standards. I would much rather have a new season than a remake or anything like that. Just never been a fan of the stuff. What series would you like to see be brought back?
Yes that sounds familiar! I really enjoying that version on the PSP. I you saying that about Twisted Metal Black, does it have some sort of behind-the-scenes commentary on the game?
It would be nice for us old school anime fans to see series brought back. One of the anime that I can think of off the top of my head that got a reboot was Slayers. The anime had been dormant since the 90s and then around the 2010's I believe it got two new seasons. Boy would I love it if that happened to some of the old school stuff. 😭
You know what? I don't think I've ever played that entry of Twisted Metal. If I correctly the last Twisted Metal game I played was on the good old PSP back in the day. I may just have to go through my games and see if I ever did end up picking that up. Sometimes during my game hunting days I will pick up cheap titles on clearance at GameStop, bring them home and then just forget about them. Hahaha! There might be a chance it could be somewhere in my house now as we SPEAK! O.O
Oh yes, the days of being a broke high school student who is also a fan of anime. I've been down that road in my days.
High five! Dude the PS2 is one of my all-time favorite systems! Nice to meet a fellow twisted metal fan as well. They really need to bring that series back, I really miss a lot of those older franchises that seem to be missing in action these days. What is your favorite genre of gaming?
I've been taking some Mandarin courses because I've been seeing kanji or Chinese characters everyday, especially as tattoos. Glad Boyé-sensei or the author of Instant Japanese was around to make that a book dedicated to teaching basic Chinese (Mandarin and not Cantonese, Jackie Chan's native language with very different characters).
Other than that, I can't wait to explore Grand Knights History and indie games after Arc The Lad 3 (part two is a masterpiece though). Yes, Grand Knights History is Japanese only, but I'll play it anyway and Vanillaware has known their stuff for decades.
I prefer pretty, cartoonish games to dark, gritty hyper-realistic visuals, artwork, etc. Hyper-realism with ugly neon lights would make my eyes bleed instantly.
As for One Piece, my big Ontarian friend loves that franchise. Even those games.
You mentioned some pretty heavy hitters there, especially on their impact I anime here over in the west. I watching The original Dragon Ball back in the mid-90s, and boy howdy if you were to tell me it would get as big here across the pond from Japan as it is currently, I never would have believed you. It's certainly an anime near and dear to my heart, especially the original Dragon Ball since it's the first one I was introduced to back in the day on local TV. It had a pretty good dub for the time too.
Couldn't help but notice a lot of the anime titles you mentioned aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami. Was that your first exposure to anime when you were a kid?
And oh my gosh dude, I just realized you're a fellow One Piece fan!!! 🤩🤩
