Based Solo Leveling review, fuck that series x 100.

I find it ““““interesting”””” how people bash isekai and to no end ever since it became a popular fad, especially SAO which gets so much undeserved hate thanks to a certain youtuber (yes, I know it’s not an isekai), but this series blows up in popularity. The only reason why people give SL a because it doesn’t have elements that would turn off wider audiences (fanservice, harem, lolis, dere archetypes, you name it).

lol, I didn't realize he had anything to do with Vivy, but it also has the resets, I recall. I've been meaning to watch it. :P

Oh, thanks. Not sure how much that helps for knowing what it will be like, though, since covers, like the one of Kusanagi, and production stills can be a bit limited. I need to watch Godzilla S.P. all the way. The creator of Shisha Teikoku handling series composition and script scares me a little but might not be an issue. I'm not really sure. Will have to wait and see. I don't you liking anything from Saru, so I'm guessing you are expecting the worst?

Uh... I haven't read any news on it. I just know Saru is involved. At least Production IG is involved in some capacity, I guess. I don't have high hopes for this, but they've already release a wide-range of takes on this franchise. Oshii, Arise, the CGI ones, SAC, which is more faithful to the original in style, etc. I see a line about how some people think it will be more faithful because it shows some manga stills, but I think that is questionable. Maybe that could be the case for writing, but I imagine it will be as idiosyncratic compared to the source as most of their adaptations have been so far visually. But idk... is there some latest news on Twitter that I'm not aware of?

LOL, I know. You had nothing to do with it (by "it," I mean that he was leaving neg comments to neg reviewers and spamming Crunchyroll awards) and even gave like a 6/10 to S3, and I don't think you're even that vocal about Re:Zero in general. btw, this is similar to my encounter with Okeanix back when the season started. I wrote a note in response to the first episode of S3 (no interaction with forums or anything like that, and it had been months since Okeanix had last messaged me). He barged in complaining about my notes (we're not friends, so the only way he could see them is to come looking for them). So it's actually the other way around and any negativity toward Re:Zero is living rent-free in his head. XD

No, yours bad. Mine good! It win many shiny things. Have best tale, strong faces, all good. You use big thunder machine to make words, no real talk. You show Evangelion tribe not smart with stories. Cave folks think Season 1 best, them crazy! Them no get it, no understand show at all! Season 3 better! Many reviews on site all fake, made by bad things and grumpy no-friends. Me share own big thinks. Re:Zero get many 1/10 scores for anime, all due to small men and little thinks, me show many times. Most people no see what show do. Re:Zero big dream, mix many kinds, over 10 styles, no other anime do this. It know many kind, show much people, be many more in later season. World and story very interesting, special in all fantasy anime. Each story part bring new ideas, every time change genre to keep fresh. People still grumble. Me see fans cry because Season 3 no heavy mind game like Season 2, when Season 3 show side people more than before. If Season 3 same as Season 2, others moan it repeat. Criticism never end. What do? People no see big picture. They no see build-ups, hidden hints, or depth in each scene and speak. Re:Zero have great story, plot, hero, bad guys, side people, ups, changes, arcs, words, lore, details, depth, sneak peeks, themes, twists, hints, voice sound, music, specialness, and more. No other anime can match like Re:Zero does. Re:Zero no plot holes or messy.

Even if you applied realism to a SUPERNATURAL show, a lot of adults don't look like their age and many can have fun in thier lifes so your "argument" makes no sense. How do you expect how an adult character act? Being miserable like Akira was at the beggining? lol

Yea I was informed. Slop Leveling isn't even close to top 10 in weekly Nicolive ratings. Hell, it's consistently near the bottom, if anything, meanwhile Medalist and Red Sentai Isekai are consistently in top 10.
True, this is why I've hated how easily shows like Slop Leveling get greenlighted. They cater so easily to the larger amount of mainstream fans overseas and hence more incentive business-wise to make more seasons of this dogshit. Then again, manhwas getting greenlighted for anime adaptations was a mistake to begin with.
