How can you be half asleep while watching last episodes?

*Has read the Mazinger Z manga* Thats also episodic, because its chapter read, it sticks to a certain thing, and goes like a "monster of the week" too, it stays on a certain thing, then goes to something else. Its a episodic manga, I also read Devilman, that one had a plot. Besides I think the Mazinger Z anime back in the 70s may have of a bit more plot to it, and the manga of Mazinger Z skipped some stuff. Also Shin Mazinger did, it was actually pretty fun to watch actually.

A heads up on your Mazinkaiser review, you have to note that it was made as a sorta remake to the old Mazinger Z, if you never really saw much of super robot anime, then its noted that they don't have over blasting plots, thats the Super Robot genre in a nutshell. That, and you need to do your homework on Go Nagai a little, just saying.

Dude, have you ever watched a super robot show from the 70s? That's how the original Mazinger series was and about every other super robot show from that decade. It's motw with a plot in each episode. Mazinkaiser is simply paying tribute to the original series. You're holding it against the genre itself, and not really the anime.
