FOLLOW ME ON http://www.twitter.com/predederva . That is the best place to get in touch with me, and to get to know me. Personal Info: My real name is Michael. I am 31 years old. I the industry (and you should too), by buying the DVD's! I write anime reviews for my blog (http://predederva.wordpress.com/) and I co-host an anime podcast (https://open.spotify.com/show/7hyyHYyk5KMn7Ip3XWDSaU) please give it a listen! But again the best place to get my attention is on twitter, not here. Anime: I buy anime DVDs, and have become some-what of a collector. I'm also a huge English Dub fan, and prefer to watch all my anime dubbed. I like darker, and more mature anime series. I like well written anime and well directed anime series! If the anime is deep, has a statement, or just has a very powerful story to tell, you could bet on me liking it. I also like exploitation anime, as long as there is some substance there. Not to say anime that have no real content, aren't deep or anything, I won't like. It's just I don't find them on the same level most of the time. Of course I do love some anime comedies that really have no content, or just some fun series, or non-deep series, but they won't ever be on the same level as the masterpieces. I guess it's the same with all forms of art/media (books, movies, TV shows, anime, etc).To put it simply I like the "high brow" stuff, and I'm highly critical of titles that get recognition that don't deserve it (cough * Ghibli*cough FMA*cough *cough). My favorite "anime time period" is the late 90's and early 2000's. I think the anime that aired from around 1995-2001 are some of the best series ever made. It's rather odd that so many great shows came from that time period. I like how the artwork was almost all hand drawn, with some digital paint, some without, and some slight use of CGI (sometimes) but not overkill. That look is the greatest IMO, even if it is a bit dated. Everything feels very warm, and I like the older traditional colors over digital coloring stuff sometimes. Also the overall content and writing seemed better around then, then any other time. Not to say I don't like anime that recently aired, or from other time periods. But that's my favorite time period. I know many people are late 80's early 90's fans, but I'm late 90's early 2000's fan! Guess it comes from living during that time, and watching anime then, and from then a lot more. That being said I'm a super fan of anything 80's, and so I have a soft spot for anime from the 80's. I do like to get into an 80's mood and just veg out with an over the top 80's anime movie or ova. His performance is amazing in this anime and I hope to check out more anime he has been in. In fact I site his performance in NTHT as the best (if not, then one of the best) performance in any English Dub. The man should get an award for what he did in this anime. Chris Ayres - He plays Kei Kurono in Gantz, and he's incredbly funny. He some great one liners! Also owns it up in Speed Grapher. Very nice performance. Brittney Karbowski - She was amazing in Jinki:Extend as the lead role, Aoba Tsuzaki. She was great as Rose Sheedy in Red Garden, very funny as Himeko Katagiri in Pani Poni Dash, and she was good in Diamond Daydreams as well. Besides I just love the sound of her voice. Sue me. Ted Cole - This guy has the perfect voice for Taichi Hiraga-Keaton. He truly makes the Master Keaton dub. This guy is Keaton incarnate. It would not be the same show without Ted Cole, it really wouldn't. The man is amazing. Kirk Thornton - This guy is the perfect person on the planet to play Dr. Black Jack, in the Black Jack OVA's. This guy is epic. Perfect casting, perfect performance, every line is said with intellegence and brute force, yet feel very real. This guy is Black Jack. Brad Swaile - Not only did he amaze me with Light in Death Note, but he also wowed me as Rock in Black Lagoon. I also liked what he did as Koji Aiba in Infinite Ryvius . The man has a real talent. That video is from 2010... 14 years later now and few people bother to familiarise themselves with older anime. Some that Western "otaku" of the 2000s would have had considered classics or anime you "must-watch!". I guess I'm not one to talk, because I'd started watching Space Battleship Yamato only this year.
Oh yeah another thing i was looking forward to telling you since the last time we spoke is one of the animes i got around to watching was now and then, here and there- i currently rate it an 8…except i’m stuck on damn episode 11 because for the life of me i can’t seem to find eps 12 and 13 dubbed anywhere…😅 ugh anyways hope to talk to ya again sometime!
They're just awards given by s to other s.
Every award has a name and description.
Please don't misunderstand me, MAL doesn't have any awards right now.
So, If MAL will have those awards someday, I'll give you one.
Lol reply after 2 years
