This show is not for everybody, so I wouldn't recommend watching it unless you understand concepts like gore, cruelty and so on.

But that is also why I find it to be so enjoyable. It's like The Shield Hero, but on steroids. I do not care about the 18 rated scenes, but man this story of revenge is sweet.

Honestly, I do want to have a second season with our beloved Keyaru. And for the people not recommending this, well, I can understand why, but at the same time this anime is not really for your casual anime watcher. Keyaru does not forgive and does ... not forget. And frankly, it's perfectly understandable why he did what he did, but at the same time he's not a cruel character (at least, not towards the decent characters throughout the show).

Honestly, I cannot recommend this anime. It reminds me of a certain battle from Nanatsu no Taizai, or the ultra fast pacing from A Returner's Magic Should Be Special. You don't have to be a manhwa reader to see how little to no effort has been put into this anime, especially when it comes to the fights happening in the series. Basically everything in this anime is kinda static, almost no effort has been put into animations. I am also expecting to see it rushed by the end, losing a lot of important plot, but that's only a guess, for the moment. So, sadly, I ... will give it a 1 (Appalling). Again I am mentioning: you don't need to know the manhwa to see just how static this anime is. It's a shame. This could have had the same potential like Solo Leveling. I am not considering my review to be a spoiler, I am just stating out the obvious.
