'Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Returns' Gets Second Season for October 2015 445q9

Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Returns will be getting a second season to premiere in October 2015.

It was also revealed that the first season's BD and DVD will be released on August 26. The first season aired from April 5, 2014 to September 27, 2014 and ran for 25 episodes.

The manga will be going on hiatus but will return in the 42nd issue on September 16. More information regarding the second season will also be revealed in the future.

you can watch any season randomly and understand the story.. they're episodic mysteries with no continuous storyline (unlike conan)

Oh fuck yes! Still have to complete the first season (at least the translated ones) and the sequels, but more murder detective series can only be a good thing. I fucking love Toei.

Like the 1997 one, there's a few gold episodes and a few meh episodes, I guess. It's not super consistent overall, honestly.

been a fan for this series since i was very little, owned a lot of comic from the file series (1993-1997 one) and some of the newer one (because kindaichi is a bit rare in my country's comic store compared to Conan so it's a bit harder to find), watched the anime of it (the newer one) and i must say that i'm waiting for this

I guess a lot of people who still avoid this do it because the original series is too long and not completely translated. Maybe they don't know that you can enjoy the the new series without having seen the prequel.
