Charlotte

If not for his ability to take over people's mind and body, Yuu Otosaka would be an ordinary high school student. Though it only lasts for five seconds at a time, Yuu's mysterious power allowed him to cheat his way to the top of his class and enter a prestigious high school, where he continues his dishonest acts.

His shenanigans are eventually stopped by Nao Tomori—the headstrong student council president from Hoshinoumi Academy—who sees through his deceit. Through coercion, Nao convinces Yuu to transfer to Hoshinoumi and the student council. Hoshinoumi Academy is secretly an institution created for adolescents who possess supernatural abilities—with the student council serving as a means of locating those who abuse their powers.

With Yuu begrudgingly assisting in council affairs, the group sets out to find and protect new ability s from harm. However, as they further investigate the abilities, their findings entangle them in far more complicated matters than they could ever imagine.

Charlotte is an anime about teenagers with super powers that disappear when they finish puberty; and it is one of the best anime I've ever seen.

Animation: Charlotte's animation is standard, with the moments that matter having better animation than usual, but that is to be expected, and it fit that expectation.

Characters: The character's in Charlotte have standard designs, even so, you are able to tell who is who after your first watch (and if you aren't able to, I highly recommend putting down your phone while watching anime)

Plot: I want to tell you what the plot is without spoiling it so have this; it's pretty ... interesting!

Notes: I write my reviews small and I try to make them in a way that most people can digest easily, considering that more and more people are becoming TikTok brain'd by the minute.

Mixed Feelings

If you're looking for something good, at the same time don't wanna get too attached to it. This one is for you. not too dramatic, not too romantic ,not a harem anime , not typical slice of life anime. A bit supernatural, bit comedy , have a nice twist , over all I'll say a good anime .You can totally go for it, if you ain't looking for anything serious.

Amazing series with awesome story and characters and the intro song was great great great great I love that intro song so much and the last episode was amazing but in the end they ... didn't kiss. I wish they would and one more thing i really want season 2 of this anime where the mc will use all of his power.

This show feels rushed, simple as that, it doesn't take the proper amount of time to develop the story or characters, nor their relationships, just constantly jumping from one scene to the other, without much explanation, then suddenly changing tone when a plot thing happens, trying to force a loose tie in with a mystery thingy from the middle to the end.

It feels like a work started by one person and ended by another, where 2 conflicted views of what the show was supposed to be clashed and the worse one won. They even managed to shoe horn a time traveling thingy, that personally ... just made it all feel worse for the dark story they tried to introduce later on. In some parts it felt like an attempt at Angel Beats, but lacked everything that made that show great, not even the MC's romantic partner doesn't get any proper development other than "her brother is in pain and then she is sad"

It had a little bit of potential, with a somewhat interesting premise, but ended up just being another disappointment.
