the first one is the story, or more to do with the characters. in a lot of time I was confused about the goals and purpose of a lot of the characters, and I even found it to be contradictory. I believe that because the amount of the deleted content from the manga, so they couldn't take their time in building the characters.
second is the production. its a little bit in the bad side, not to the unwatchable category, not even close.
