PROLOGUE:

This manga ended with 50 chapters (web version). For reasons, this page/entry is just about the physical version of the manga, which has 4 chapters.

----- GENERAL, STORY AND CHARACTERS:

This is a shoujo-ai / yuri manga. It´s not implicit yuri, nor yuri bait nor wishy-washy yuri. It´s yuri and shoujo-ai on its true/explicit form.

The story is simple yet beautifully done as it follows the love relationship between Heath (a monster/beast girl) and Lily (human). Not only I would recommend this for yuri fans but also for those who are indifferent about yuri.

Side characters are nice and you might be able to feel for them just as much as you will feel for Heath and Lily.

This manga shines by providing us beautiful emotions and feels on the simplest scenes. It´s wholesome; emotional.

Whether or not this was intended by the author, there are couple of messages between the lines: some you will notice; others you will just feel; and some will probably by unnoticed.

----- ART:

Art quality unfortunately oscillated throughout the manga. From solid good art to fine-ish and even to just an enhanced sketch.

Still, this should not be able to affect your enjoyment as the content outshines the art.

---- EXTRA, PERSONAL OPINION, CONCLUSION:

In my opinion, this manga is a masterpiece (10/10) up until the end of chapter 48.

So what is the problem with the last two chapters?
The answer is simple: All of sudden a huge time skip leading to a rushed ending.

Unfornutely, Bocchi Kaibutsu to Moumoku Shoujo is another awesome manga that suffered from a rushed ending.

Just as misplaced flashbacks, big time skips are something I hardly exactly because they can be also used as an excuse to rush end a series.

Consequently, some things were left unanswered and suddenly most of the characters were gone as we will never know what happened to them. Too bad.
