The same thing also happens in this anime, the vampire still sucks blood and they also create offspring by turning other humans into vampires.
But the thing is, this actually the first anime that makes me acknowledge that when vampires suck your blood, they’re not only eating but also having sex at the same time. It makes me realize how much of an efficient creature vampire is, cause they basically can do two of human’s greatest pleasure, sex and eating at one go and that’s not all,in here an offspring can be produced if the “prey” of the vampire fall in love with their own “predator”, so not only they’re having sex and eating,if the prey happens to fall in love with them, they technically also gain a bride. Such an amazing specimen.
OK enough with the vampire science and let’s actually talk about the anime.
I just wanna say that Yofukashi no Uta is a great romance anime and a great anime adaptation.
The animation is perfect

The OP and ED is beyond perfect…it’s just *chef kiss* and whoever animated that OP and ED animation deserved a raise.
The story is also a very engaging interspecies love story, usually, vampire love story in most anime is a cringe-worthy aggressive male vampire with an annoyingly submissive female MC relationship but Yofukashi no Uta is the complete opposite. It’s more than just worth watching.
It’s a story that involves a lot of lewd scenes and fanservice scene but it’s not just an anime about ASS and BOOBS, it has a lot of wholesome moment that can melt your heart or in my case,makes me jealous…kinda.
The character is lovable,MC might seem dull at first, just like Tadano from Komi-san but I believe eventually the new viewers will grow fond of them
The female charas are basically a full roster for “seasonal waifu”, there’ll be some people that will start watching this anime just cause a mere glimpse of them.
Nazuna which is a strong contender for Best Female Character this season also no different, with such submissive design and shy yet aggressive demeanor that makes us not only want her to suck your blood but also suck your d****.
Overall a very recommended anime
