A highschooler goes out from his house in the night and meets a cheerful female vampire that initiates him into the world of the night. Kizumonogatari has a more dramatic atmosphere, however.
Both anime seem to have a fetish for vampirism, also the ecchi is top notch.
You got the vampires, you got the edgy teenagers, you got the witty remarks, and you got the nice camera angles. If you're into that stuff, I totally recommend the Monogatari Series, especially Kizumonogatari.
