If "I'm not like the other girls" was a romance anime.

While trying to make this character likable, they made her extremly flat and unrelatable (and a borderline mean girl thanks to her arrogance). She's is a classic case of a Mary Sue dressed under layers of plot armor. Having regressed 7 times does not make anyone perfect, otherwise everyone would be close to perfect after 70 (assuming she is approx. living 10 years each time, which I think it's a very generous amount - it's probably less). Why does the prince like her? Because *she is not like the other girls* tee-hee. She ... is different, and ofc she is, bc that's the only redeeming quality she has. Underneath it all there's only a character who thinks she knows better than anyone and thinks is morally superior for having regressed multiple times. The last straw, for me, was when she decided to shame a maid for doing what is expected from someone in her position (in that universe) and that she learned from other maids in service. "You knew how to write and read so you had an advantage". Girl... you're reaching with that "logic". What about the fact that she didn't do any domestic tasks as a noble before and others most likely did since they were young? What about the fact she was an outsider? Are those advantages as well? I am not going to say that the maid was perfect. She behaved questionabily at times and should be held responsible, but at the end of the day she just repeated the same behaviours she was taught in that universe were correct. It's not her fault. It's the system in place which is the problem. Teaching her something different requires kidness, not shame.

Can't recommend this, unless you enjoy these super unrealistic tropes. If you do, more power to you and you will love this. If you are like me, just don't waste your time.

If this is supposed to be a cute and light romance anime, it failed miserably. All I saw was a romanticized toxic relationship. They should have a serious talk about their priorities, cuz it seems everyone's needs are more important than those of their own significant other. The characters are very immature, which would be justified in a highschool setting, or if the anime din't portray those behaviours in adults as something literally labeled as "cute", throughout the series. However, it fails to do so and we are left feeling unconfortable, even thought that isn't even the goal of this piece of work. Not an ... enjoyable experience. If you are looking for a mature office romance, like Wotakoi, this isn't it.
