Totally agree! All the outfits are so different, but they really match the girls' personalities. Like how Panty is outgoing, so her clothes are revealing and breathable. She wears crop tops and cut-off denim shorts, which totally suit her vibe. Meanwhile, Stocking is the quieter sister, more laid-back sister, so her fashion is cozy yet sophisticated, very much in line with the goth Lolita aesthetic.

Takin stocking to a cafe is one thing but imagine a Stocking-themed café, that would be amazing! It could serve her favorite sweets from episode 4, where she turns into that big puffball, haha :D. Her taste in men, though… yeah, it needs work. I was gonna say she should take notes from Panty, but honestly, that would be a terrible idea! :D

Ah, thank you for your kind words! I really do love the yuri genre, so let me help you out. I've read both series, and while they share some similarities, they're actually quite different.

The Summer You Were There is more of a tragic and emotional story. (Might be a slight spoiler ahead!) The yuri aspect doesn’t have much time to fully develop, but what does bloom is still very beautiful, just be ready to cry (T~T).

And hearing that Bloom Into You is one of your favorite romances of all time? That’s wonderful! It’s truly a beautiful story and, honestly, one of the best yuri series out there.

As for Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku, I’m actually planning to watch the anime when it comes out this year! I have a feeling it might be similar to Bloom Into You in tone and depth, though not yuri. But feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. I'd be happy if you could explain what the story is about. All I know so far is that there are two high schools next to each other, one is an all-girls school that's considered high-class, and the other is an all-boys school known for being full of troublemakers or delinquents. Also, I think the blonde boy works at a bakery? :)

I actually took a look at your list while reading this and gotta say I agree with you in mostly all your takes. Blessed Sailor Moon cover, btw. It sure was a pleasant surprise lol.
As for some of your takes, I totally agree with what you wrote for the Heaven's Feel trilogy, even though I scored the second and third movie slightly lower than you. Mainly because of some pacing issues I noticed while watching them + one or two scenes from the VN that weren't adapted.
And yes, Medusa vs. Saber Alter (hope that's the fight you are referring to in the third movie) is peak audiovisual content. Still my favorite anime fight to this day. Now I look forward to seeing if Ufotable manage to sur themselves with the Demon Slayer movie trilogy.

Asuna in her school uniform is something else, man. Kinda funny how long it took them to release her "base" model if I'm honest. By the way, I find her Ex-Skill animation unbelievably cute. The fact of her supposedly having a "sixth sense" of sorts to detect Sensei (the player) when he's around is simply adorable if you ask me.
And yes, Hina's design is simply amazing. Her Dress and Swimsuit variations are also really nice to look at but the aura her OG design gives off is practically unmatchable. Not to mention she has a lovely personality and the insecurities she hides beneath her cold exterior 100% makes you want to protect her, even though she's canonically one of the game's strongest girls.


LOL! Eh... I mean, I can see the reasoning behind that assumption given that many other players share it but I'm afraid to tell you it's all just a meme. The thing is that the five main girls that form the Justice Task Force (the club Hasumi is part of) are kinda similar so there is the meme that they are all evolutions of the same base mob character. But yeah, narrative-wise, the show's plain awful and cringe but I still managed to watch it all. Honestly, not the worst thing I ever watched (OST and animation carried hard, of course) but seeing so many people throwing flowers at it sure made me roll my eyes to the back of my skull.

As far as I understand, -Koyomi Vamp- is a summary movie of three already short movies... weird.
And it's not just Hanekawa losing some of her lovely traits. I also disliked seeing short-haired Senjougahara and whatever Sengoku got on her head at the end of Final Season :S Does the author have a fetish for short-haired girls or something? I wonder.
As for Araragi's behavior, I totally get what you are saying. I would also add that in my case, I was already aware of the lolicon aspect of the story before starting the franchise so I guess that fact kinda helped me "digest" said aspect better. Not that I felt particularly weird out while watching tho. Ararararagi brushing Karen's teeth was more bizarre than anything and that episode with him and Shinobu bathing together in Nise is actually one of my favorite episodes because of the dialogues they shared. Funnily enough, the one moment I actually going full "wow 👀" was the scene with Senjougahara and Hanekawa showering together in Second Season. Blessed moment indeed.

And as for Mushoku Tensei, I honestly tend to avoid discussing it because I'm kinda stubborn when it comes to change my mind regarding something I deeply dislike. And as you mentioned, I do score shows using "personal enjoyment" as main metric and the fact of me disliking Rudeus since Episode 1 certainly impacts on the potential enjoyment I can find while watching the show.
This said, I read everything you wrote carefully and I can totally understand your points. Not to mention it's lowkey moving to read that you found such a gem within this medium and are enjoying/loving it to this degree.
So to make it clear and avoid misunderstandings (just in case): MT isn't among my favorites but it's nowhere near among my most disliked shows either. That's a place reserved for shows like Tokyo Revengers and, if we talk about isekai's, Shield Hero. I also think MT has some really strong points (I seriously do) but I just can't click with it in its entirety. It's what it is, sadly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yep, that's the effect Hanako has in most players. Her OG version isn't particularly special but man did I lose my mind when her swimsuit version was released (16yo my ass lol). Her banner is relatively close, btw (less than two months) so in case you start playing BA, you will need 24k gems minimum to secure her. I got her when she first debuted and is currently among my most used girls in-game.

EDIT: Great to know you finally started playing BA!! Just to let you know, there are some YT channels dedicated to the game that you might find useful. The YT channel I follow is a spanish-speaking one but I have seen there are also some english-speaking ones out there.
As for the girls you got, Aru is the most useful one given she has good stats and is a good option for most Explosive/Red raids and missions.
Neru and Shun aren't used that often tho. Neru is for some very specific stages and Shun is mostly used in the PvP section of the game.
Pretty sure you can get far better girls if you reroll/reset you (Himari and Ako being the best options) but I personally never do that since I like to start my experience with whatever fate/luck decides to give me. My first student was Hibiki, btw.
And yes, the game will be released for PC in the near future. That's pretty nice if you ask me.

Man, I'm missing Fauna's model so much but on the other hand, I'm glad to see she's doing perfectly fine now as an indie. I like Nimi's model too but I still think Fauna's had a particular aura which I found extremely alluring. I do adore Nimi's chibi model tho, so cute and expressive haha.
Yeah, pretty sure Gura will return eventually. I wasn't really surprised when she announced her graduation, given her long periods of absence during the last year, but I can empathize with people feeling particularly down because of the announcement.

Yeah, Hasumi is indeed very lovely and hot so I can't blame you for choosing her over Rio. Hasumi's OG version is also among my favorites but I gotta it the size of her boobs sometimes makes me wonder whether they are a bit too much or just the right size considering her voluptuous figure. Kinda like Hanekawa during the Kizumonogatari movies lol.

Nah, it's okay to get baited by Blue Archive lol. I have been playing for more than two years now and haven't felt any boredom/annoyance yet. The gacha system is also super friendly and you can do just fine as a F2P player. I can tell you I have never put real money on Blue Archive and I still manage to get all the girls I want (most recent recruitments being my beloved Reijo, Mari (Idol) and hypnosis-fan Satsuki). You only need to manage your gems well and avoid being impulsive.
As of now, I'm currently saving gems for Yuuka (Pajama) but I still have doubts about whether I should pull for her or not. Mainly because there are like 3-4 other girls that I really REALLY wanna get and their banners are relatively close to Yuuka's. So again, I have to manage my gems wisely. Btw, these 3-4 girls I want are Seia (same VA as Frieren and the character's whole demeanour is fairly similar to Frieren's as well), Asuna (her school uniform version), Neru (her school uniform version as well) and finally my beloved Rio who will finally become playable 🙏

So yeah, you can say I merely watch MT for its production values, worldbuilding... and Ruijerd.

Well, anime teenage girls looking like 25yo Playboy babes has been a thing since... forever so I'm kinda immune to that discordance by now. In the case of Blue Archive, I guess it can't be helped since the very premise of the game put a lot of restrictions for the developers. I mean, all the girls are high-school students so having 18+ girls walking around in a supposed "academy city" wouldn't make much sense. Mature-looking characters like Hasumi, Asuna, Rio, Rin, freaking Hanako in her swimsuit version, among many others are there for the sake of variety but yeah, them canonically being 15/16/17yo because the game MUST be about high-schoolers do feel jarring sometimes.
Oh, I love Kisaki so much lol. I find her design amazing and the fact of her entire character basically being "Chinese Hina" brings me great joy. They both share height, weight and birthday, btw.

The affinity for Blue Archive came from the in-game story, not so much the anime. For me, at least, Blue Archive’s story is one of the best ones around in of gacha gaming. I do understand the stigma for gacha in general and frankly I ittedly don’t really play them often, either. It’s usually where I occasionally play the dailies and main quests and read the cutscenes on YouTube later…the growing mental fatigue is where I’ve done the latter more and more often nowadays. This as well as Arknights, which I found also great storytelling-wise, but in much different aspects compared to Blue Archive.

Yea, YouTube has gotten so much worse over the years, especially in, copyright & censorship policies, algorithms, and searches. Big channels won’t be as negatively affected by the algorithm changes…smaller channels like mine, on the other hand….😔

Yea, I multitask a lot, more often nowadays. There’s also the case of where I don’t prioritize sleep often, but I wouldn’t recommend this. Unfortunately even that isn’t enough to catch up to date with most gacha stuff aside from BA….especially with Hoyoverse and WuWa, because I find it extremely hard to get invested in those in particular due to their lukewarm writing and characters whose saving grace has been mostly their designs.

The best part is that she wears a new outfit in every episode, which is a refreshing change from the usual anime trope where characters wear the same thing all the time.
