Yeah I get your gripe about that; I have pre-emptively judged the series. I don't necessarily think it should be like the real world, but should just have a link to it. For example, the reason Steins;Gate's microwave-time machine is acceptable is because a microwave essentially a particle collider (and vice-versa). The link to real science goes like this: the theory states that one byproduct of colliding subatomic particles is a mini-black hole created between the space of the spinning particles as such: (-->|<--). Albeit this only occurs for a few picoseconds, it can be sustained by beaming electrons through it (hence the CRT television underneath). And there you have a real link to some badass science. I just didn't see that with DW given what I explained earlier about how the concept of a dimension is misrepresented. /rant

Anyways, Im actually glad to see you accept the fact that tastes are simply that, and that if I enjoy something, I don't necessarily acknowledge it as something that's actually well-done. Like Di Gi Charat. Though I'm not aware I gave it a 10, I certainly did enjoy it as a kid and the feeling I get from watching it now is that it just makes me feel good in a way other anime does not. I still know that it was just essentially a glorified commercial for a store in Akiba lol.

MCA and Gangsta actually share the same problem in my opinion. Though they are enjoyable just to watch and not really think about, they don't really have a story with the full beginning, conflict, climax, and resolution or any sort of that format. While not required, the type of anime they are would have you expect a story to begin and end like that.

Also I'll try and check out your suggestions when I have the time and place. Currently I'm not watching much because my battlestation is just my laptop and wherever I can sit as my room doesn't have space for a desk.

Also it just means we have different tastes in anime. But Im not taking any offense to your conclusion. Maybe we can talk about some of the anime i've rated that you disagree with.
