An exciting Shonen manga adaptation anime premiered in 2025. I started watching the first two episodes on March 6th then decided to stop and watch the complete series later. The eleventh episode marked the completion of my viewing journey on May 18, 2025.

I found this action-comedy series to be a truly impressive show. The animation quality and the storyline both stood out as strong components of the show.

What's at the core of the show? The series combines the action of John Wick with a distinct twist in the story. Sakamoto leaves his legendary hitman role behind when he marries the woman he adores. He manages ... a convenience store while enjoying the tranquility of his new life.

A person in that line of work does not experience true retirement. Several professional killers receive orders to pursue him which triggers the beginning of the action scenes. The story expands when former comrades enter the picture and his family maintains its importance throughout.

I want to avoid revealing specific details because the show remains truly outstanding. The second season has my anticipation levels at their peak.

The combination of action and comedy with original characters makes this show an entertaining option for viewers. I rate this show an 8 out of 10.

After receiving a thousand recommendations from my friend, I finally completed this anime on 30–31 May 2025. Watching this anime requires only a single viewing session to experience its complete story.

The anime provides a fresh twist to fantasy storytelling which blends together action elements with adventurous journeys and humorous moments. This original anime production from MAPPA earned an award nomination from Crunchyroll.

Now let's discuss the story— The story's magic system in this anime replaces a conventional lamp-based genie with a bullet-based genie. The events in the opening episode follow this exact description which actually happens in the series debut.

The anime does not explain why the ... genie emerges from a bullet. The explanation for this phenomenon will become clear when you continue watching the anime. The story carries elements of traditional school gang themes that include power rivalries and rule enforcement. The main plot does not feature romantic elements but Arajin develops feelings which provides a light-hearted moment in the series.

I enjoyed watching this show. Season 1 of the show concludes its storyline by revealing major plot elements and introducing future developments. The possibility of a second season remains unclear at this point.

The anime receives an 8 out of 10 score from me. The show deserves a chance to be watched.

Initially, this anime did remind me a lot of "You're Ms. Servant", but it's just not the same. Honestly, I don't even have a full explanation about it.

The story follows Yuuri, somewhere between 10 and 12, and Lilith, this mysterious femme de chambre aged 16-18. Gradually, a subtle feeling of affection enters between the pair. Quite often, Yuuri complements Lilith from his own innocence while she would get shy at the compliment. At other times, she is teasing Yuuri while grinding her teeth to lacerate her affection-during her care for his needs and even his feelings.

This constant blend ... of adorable bantering, mystery, and soft feelings maintains the storyline light yet gripping. I cannot say much without giving things away, but I would just rather suggest to consider trying it; you might enjoy it.

Personally, I found it entertaining. I would give it a 7 out of 10.

An isekai anime I finished within a day. It is an average series, nothing great, yet with a few funny moments.

Not much goes on about deep storyline or unique plot points; it follows the usual isekai formula and does not do anything novel to the genre, yet it is still a decent watch for some mindless time-wasting.

There are two seasons out now, but I have only watched the first one yet. For me, it was just okay; I neither loved it nor hated it.

A rating of 6/10 would be what I can give it.

Having been released the preceding year, this anime gleams like a rare crystal amidst languishing railroad tracks: a superb amalgamation of romantic comedy and high school drama. With all honesty, it is a delightful mix of humor and sincere moments that took me by surprise with its charm.

Let me try to break it down — from the very first scene, we can see that the heroine Alya often flirts with the hero Masachika in Russian but that she is unaware of the fact that Masachika understands the Russian language perfectly well. The whole fun begins with Alya dropping casual romantic or ... emotional lines in Russian, and while she thinks that Masachika is unaware, he actually understands every single word.

Many times we viewers can pretty much guess what Alya is saying from her expressions. And yes — I, myself, would pause the episode and Google for the translations for words such as:

“Milashka,” “Ya tee-BYA lyu-BLYU,” “ty ta-kóy mí-lyy, glúpiy, moy mál-chik, slát-kiy” — and many more. Honestly, I feel so Milashka (cute) hearing these lines that I can't even describe it with words.

Masachika understood every one of those but never let Alya know that he did. That sort of secret romance and unspoken tension made this show downright enjoyable for me.

Besides their romance, the anime also covers various school activities and gently touches upon the intrigues of student politics, so not to say that Alya and Masachika are the only things going on.

In short — if you're into rom-coms, school dramas, or slice-of-life anime, then this is the one to give a try. No anime is perfect;

I finally saw this much-hyped anime... and honestly, it truly lives up to that hype! 😍🔥 This is no ordinary lovey-dovey kind of high-school romance. No-sir: here love is a battlefield — literally! 💘⚔️

Yes, it's a romantic-comedy, but on steroids. It is psychological, brilliant, and outrageously dramatic. No scenes with explicit connotations but with definitely an adult mentality involved. The crux of the show is: "Whoever confesses first loses"... so Kaguya and Miyuki are locked in an intense game of mind where emotion and strategy intermingle. 🎭🧠💥

Come on, don't we all in some way or the other? Especially guys 😅: afraid ... of rejection, afraid of damaging their friendship, hoping the other person takes the first step. And now, ladies? They'll flirt, tease, and corner you until you fall the hardest. 🎯💃😆

From the clever writing to the perfect comic timing, this anime is full of "aha" moments and truths we can all relate to. If you like your love stories with a little brains (and a bunch of laughs), this is the one to watch.

An easy 8 out of 10 from me. 💯💌

I kept this anime on the watchlist for some time... and now that I finally have, I can say only one thing—TOTALLY WORTH IT! 🔥

At first sight, it looks like your new typical high school drama—but no! It is a full-throttle psychological thriller under the disguise of a school anime. 🧠🎭 Every scene, every conversation, every little bit in the background matters. One of those rare anime where if you blink, you miss something very important. 👀

No superpowers. No aliens. No over-the-top fantasy. It's just plain old mind games, manipulation, strategy, and wily social power plays. 😮‍💨 The kind of anime ... that makes you question everyone's real intentions around you—even those of the protagonist. 👤

The show gives you a little tease in the early parts of Season 1 by saying that all the students are "special" and believe me, finding out why is half the fun. If you savor end twists, agonizing suspense and a deadpan, silent main character—that's your show.

I'd give Season 1 an 8 out of 10; now I'm stoked to see what awaits Season 2. 🎓🔥

I watched this from April 15th to April 19th, 2025, and must say, it gives a different take on the typical rom-com. 😄

This is not the typical love story. It is a revenge plot… with abs and awkward flirting. Our main guy, Masamune, underwent traumatic rejection at the hands of Aki, a girl he developed a crush on in grade school. And not just a rejection—she body-shamed him and cruelly dubbed him “Pig's Foot.”🐷💔 (Oof).

What does Masamune do? Hits the gym, completely changes his appearance 💪, and comes back with a plan: Win Aki over, make her fall in love, then break her heart. Pure ... petty revenge dressed in abs and rom-com chaos. 😅

Masamune’s Revenge focuses on comedy balanced with a sprinkle of emotional growth. Aki does seem to soften toward him by the end, but the boy is far too consumed with the revenge mission to realize it.

You’ll want to stick it out until the end because the final few episodes insert some twist you never knew you needed. It’s worth the watch if you love romance mixed with drama, a sprinkle of laughter, and some gym glow-ups.

I would personally give it a 6/10, and I plan on starting Season 2 any minute now! 🎬🍿

I have no idea why I watched this so late. It’s a family-comedy-drama with action and emotions. At first it feels like a fun action series but by the end it really gets to you. I didn’t expect it and I’m sure many others won’t either.

The story follows two assassins — Kazuki Kurusu and Rei Suwa — who live together and never miss their targets. But everything changes when a little girl named Miri enters their lives. From that point on the story shifts and becomes more about parenting, growth and relationships.

You’ll see gunfights, blood and missions but also heartwarming scenes ... that show how these two cold assassins slowly turn into caring father figures. The animation is clean, music and sound effects are great and Miri’s Hindi voice is so cute and lovable.

Most of the anime is light and fun but the last 2-3 episodes hit hard with emotional depth. I wasn’t ready for that and honestly I was caught off guard.

This feels like a complete story and I don’t think it’ll get a second season. Still it’s worth watching. You won’t regret it.

Even if it may not “deserve” a perfect score technically I’m giving it a 10/10 — because of how it made me feel.

This is truly a departure from the other run-of-the-mill isekai anime--where the protagonist becomes overpowered with some ridiculous form of magic or strength. Here, the MC is not endowed with exceptional power, strength, or magic; rather, his single and only power is the ability to "appraise" one another person's talent.

(Of course, do not worry, as it is not a spoiler since this gets revealed right at Episode 1.)

The narrative instills the action of how the MC deploys his subtle skill into a bright and strategic move, surviving in a world full of political friction and war. Instead of brute force, he ... proves himself worthy with intelligence, planning, and talent scouting.

What makes it unique is the fresh way that it takes - this is not your traditionally overpowered hero story, but something more tactical growth and leadership oriented.

⚔️ Should You Watch It?
For me, it's a once-off watch for anyone who loves a little brain over brawn in their isekaiex. It definitely doesn't have a completed storyline, but there are promising markers suggesting it'll actually be a little different.

I give this a solid 7/10--a try well worth taking, especially for someone who wants something a little different in the isekai.

This is completely not like any isekai anime. Unlike any other isekai anime where the MC is granted some ridiculous shrouded overpowered ability, here, he doesn't even have that. The MC does not have an insane power, strength, or magic--in fact, he has a single power: the power of "appraising" other people's talents.

(And don't worry. It's not a spoiler as it is revealed within Episode 1.)

The story follows how he employs this subtle skill in surviving a world full of political tensions and war, all smartly. He proves himself worthy, not by brute strength, but through strategy, intelligence, and scouting for talents.

What makes it special is the whole new aspect, as it does not have a typical overpowered hero story, but tactical growth and inspiration into leadership.

⚔️ Should You Watch It?
One such great one-time watch is for the brain over brawn in their isekai. The story is still unraveling, promising earlier promising markers for something a little different in the telling.

I'd grade this 7/10--worth trying for sure, especially if you're looking for something different in isekai.
