Please do yourself a favor and check out the first FLCL, released in 2000. The sequels are soulless cash grabs that mar the original's reputation.

That's a nice take of FLCL Grunge. Perhaps the most atrocious thing I've seen in my whole 8 years as an Anime fan.

Completely agree, I think a well-made original anime is always more engaging than an adaptation of similar quality, it just always baffles me when an original with nothing unique or original about it gets average production at best, because I don't understand how they wanted to market that.
