Thanks for your insight into the Overlord LN I know nothing about. It's something that's been almost entirely divorced from every conversation I've had about the series.

I agree with obtite, it seems like you seem to watch anime you think are "okay" only for the most part which is just weird to me.
Overlord, arguably one of the best isekai made and the first season is the best of the lot? 3 episodes in and you're already rating S4 a 5?

Violet Evergarden is a prime example of people not caring about actual substance as long as it makes them feel something. Good review.

Got told by a friend to watch Violet Evergarden and while I don't think I am bold enough to rate it as low as you did, I agree with everything you said. Beautiful story, music is good but invasive to the scenes to a detriment, and the characters and story are really the weakest points. We might not have the most popular opinions but you're speaking for all of us man, thanks!

Finsih Violet Evergarden and Clannad even if you don't like VE just finish clannad and then watch afterstory, it is a masterpiece of animation in my eyes atleast. Maybe also consider finishing angel beats sometime and goblin slayer deserves a 10 even if you've not seen it yet.
