A mysterious black-haired maiden lives in a hidden palace deep in the forest with a powerful witch. Every day she must give water and food to the birds that dwell within their cages. The locals are terrified to wander too deep into the forest because if they do, they disappear forever. Seemingly only the brave, fool-hearty, or desperate make the journey.

This is a very short, beautifully illustrated manga. Night Flower's story appears to be originally thought up by the author. It is heavily inspired by short-form fairy tales which are meant to teach a lesson to the reader. The characters are typically surface level as ...
