It is said that the longer one's punctuality streak is, the better a boyfriend they will have. In accordance with this, Airi Hoshina strictly follows her routine in preparation for her dream life: to have a loving, wholesome husband and family. However, Airi's life takes a fantastical turn when a young boy appears from her hand mirror.

Named Aram Astale Ei Daemonia Eucalystia, the young prince of Astale is fleeing his kingdom to evade a magical spell. Unknowingly, his portal leads directly to Airi's hand mirror. Though he avoided the brunt of the spell, his escape did not completely save him from the magic's effects: a spell that was originally supposed to turn Aram into an old man instead ages his body to that of a 17-year-old whenever it is dark. Now, the only way to turn him back is a kiss from his beloved maiden. Busy trying to find her one true love, Airi wants nothing to do with it, but Aram insists his soulmate must be her!

This was one of the first mangas I've read of Matsuri Hino when I was 13 (apart from Vampire Knight) and, at the time, it made it into my top "best mangas I've ever read".

Now that I am 21 years old, I can see all the problematic stuff this manga has (the fact that Aram IS STILL A KID, even though his appearance says otherwise), or all the misogyny that is showed from characters such as Jeile or Razalude (even though it's showed with "humoristic purposes"). But being aware of those aspects does not mean that I did not enjoy rereading it, nostalgia factor involved. ...

Mixed Feelings
Story: 7/10
Cute but it gets boring at some points.

Art: 6/10
Nothing too detailed or fancy.

Enjoyment: 6/10
It's too depending on 'love prevails all', so maybe I would have enjoyed it when I was 15~

Characters: 7/10

Being familiar with Matsuri Hino´s art style and Vampire Knight serie I was happy to find another short series of her, it shattered my excitement and expectations. To put it shortly it encourages pedophilia, each volume that I read made me feel uncomfortable and disgusted. It made me question Matsuri Hino´s mental state, her previous work Vampire knight contained somewhat elements of incest which was already problematic but pedophilia ? I tried my best to finish reading all volumes in hopes that it is not what I was thinking.
The art was beautifull as usual and the story could have been nice if it wasn't ...
