Majeh was a great swordsman in life but in death he is merely an envoy to the next world for the King of Hell. It is later discovered that he is a legendary swordsman who was placed in a magical realm called the Moorim where the fiercest warriors stayed.

When a disaster occurred in hell where the most wicked demons escaped into the world of Mortals, the King of Hell sends Majeh out to capture these escape demons...

It’s been over 10 years now since this series has been first released in South Korea and after a decade later it’s still one of the best manhwa series that I’ve read and still going strong in South Korea. When I first started reading King of Hell I never expected this series to last as long as it has.

This is my first review but King Of Hell (KOH) deserves it! I am not good with technical ratings so I go with my personal opinions to give an overall rating.

When I first started reading this series, I was quickly intrigued by the art style and the humor. Even though KOH is more or less action/martial arts based it has a lot of funny parts and I wouldn't count them as "comic-relief" but more like one of the essential flavors of the plot itself.

If you’re looking for a series to read that offers action, adventure and tons of fighting this is the series for you. The story mostly revolves around the main character named Majeh who once upon a time was a legendary and power swordsman when he was alive. Now dead he serves for the King of Hell collecting spirits from people that on to the next world. During the first chapter a dimensional rift opens up and seven of hells strongest and dangerous demons escape and the King of Hell sends Majeh back to his original human body to hunt and apprehend these demons.
