The story pacing is tight, not too fast but should've been a bit slower. The story is 150 pages long but feels shorter than that. The art is good and matches the story. Has a lot of wholesome moments. A great slice of life and goal for the story with the events that set this off into motion. You'll love the characters with how the two are drastically different from one another and how they play off each other. You start to slowly understand the romantic feelings from the main character more as time goes on within the first volume with these parts of the ... character playing out.

The jokes are quite funny and don't stick around too long so if they're not your cup of tea then at least it's done and over with quickly.

The main character actively takes steps towards her goals, not a ive character with her planning and setting things up only for them not to work then come up with a new idea in hand. Not much external conflict to her goal just internal conflict with relatable issues at hand.

The love interest and the main character both play off each other quite well with their friendship and the banter that goes on.

This series had a lot of potential. It was super cute, packed with fluff, and featured some pretty likeable characters.

The main issue? Most of the story feels kind of pointless. It doesn’t really push the main characters’ relationship forward in any meaningful way. I don’t mind a good tease here and there—an interrupted kiss or a misunderstood confession can be fun. But when the same trick is repeated for half the series, it gets old fast. Each chapter gives the illusion of progress, only to end up back at square one. This also makes the ending feel pretty unfulfilling and shallow.

Another nitpick is that some ... of the characters looked a bit too similar in black and white, which made it hard to tell them apart at times. That aside, the art overall looked quite good and was pleasant to follow.

Despite the flawed storytelling, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy reading this. The pacing is quick, even if the events don’t always lead anywhere, and I never felt bored. And honestly, I’m a sucker for some good ol’ fluff.

It had a rough start, but a great middle part, and then, unfortunately, a rough ending.

The art is cute, the character designs are typical yuri/cgdct, the characters being quite similar but still have distinctive features, and you'll get the typical yuri dating tropes. Festival, fireworks, fever, bath, school trips, school festival … what was not so common was the planetarium and the ski trip. That was cool as a change.

Volume 1 was awful. It had a sweet first chapter, but Minami was way too much, too annoying from chapter 2 on! Felt like I was reading a thriller based on her heart beat.

Volume 3 ... and 4 were my favorites, the progress there was great! Well, as the other reviewers have said, the progress was more episodic, yes, but it still looked like they were having fun, and Minami finally came down a little in v3. It was actually enjoyable watching them together, after I wondered in v1 how they were bffs for 7 or so years.

Even the first half of volume 5 seemed really promising! There were some really cute moments there! <3
But then there was this one moment that should've been the climax, yet it ended up being very anti-climatic. When it came to the verbal confession at the end, I didn't feel anything for them anymore. I didn't need for them to be together as lovers anymore, I would have honestly liked if they didn't end up together and move on from their crush. THAT would've been a mature take! Unfortunately it didn't.

As much as I love melancholy, I did not like whatever the author wanted to show at the end. Was it supposed to be more realistic? Good job, but after the extreme blushing from the previous volumes, i do not see why there was any need to bring this down to earth now. Especially cause you'd want readers to keep rooting for them, not achieve the opposite. Maybe it just me, though, I don't know.

More often than not, their hopelessness reminded me of 'Adachi & Shimamura'. If you like their awkwardness, you'll definitely like Yuzu & Minami too.

The ing characters were really nice, and our MCs would've been totally done for without Kamiya – the angel!
I'm disappointed we didn't get to see more of Tsubasa and Kosame, though.
