*One Light Novel that Everyone should Read*


i read this because someone at Youtube suggest me this because of Tunnel Summer Movie (and i dindt like that movie).

but after i'd see the cover and there is a short-hair girl with high school uniform...
and in my mind was i will give this a chance

and wow this is one of the best Light Novel i had:
-Story: 10/10
... (made me feel tense and comfy every single line)
-Word choosing and dialog: 10/10
(its easy to understand and made my fantasy flying in the sky)
-Ilustration: 9/10
(the emotion at the ilustr was Very Good)
-Ending: 8/10
(So for ending.. some people will hate it but it still good ending)
-Moral Story: 9.5/10
(Its presented so well at the Novel)
*So Should You Read This?
The Answer is: ABSOLUTELY

It‘s a very clever piece. I‘d see it on eye level with Tunnel to Summer. You can definitely see the author‘s style and his fascination with time travel, especially a concept called boot-strap paradox but I’d say the it‘s slightly more complex than TtS. And the author does another amazing job at showing how fragile human relationships can be, how single events can flip any relationship upside down.

In of plot, it feels more consistent compared to TtS, something is just always going on, however, the climax comes near the very end, so if you decide to read, don‘t give up halfway if the ... story seems average at first, because it‘s necessary to build up to the finale.

However, what is different from TtS is that this book feels more like a detective story and if I‘d compare it to a movie it‘d be Christopher Nolan‘s masterpiece Memento. They have similar elements, because the story flows chronologically from backwards, depicting future events first, but the author does so really well, making it feel like a jigsaw puzzle that makes more sense the more you read.

I picked up this book at the store on a whim solely because of the cover, as the colors of the cherry blossoms and the realistic feel of the scenery really stood out to me—and boy was it worth it.

Plot (8/10): While the plot isn't anything too crazy, I do believe that it is unique in its own way. I have read plenty of stories regarding time travel, but none included a phenomenon like the "rollback," so the story felt fresh. The ending of the story I thought was well done, the book does its fair amount of foreshadowing and so I kind of got ... an idea of how it was going to end, but there was much more to it than what I thought, which didn't disappoint.

Writing (10/10): The thing that stood out the most from this book was the writing. Everything from the descriptions of the sceneries and the emotions to the grammar used in the story felt like it was well done, which is amazing considering that this is also a translation. The writing also felt very poetic at times, and the author finds ways to set the mood just right. The way in which the author manages to connect the "rollback" phenomenon with the story also comes off as very clever, making it a book worth reading twice so that one can see what the author did.

Characters (10/10): The characters felt very real throughout the text, making choices that were relatable. There weren't any annoying quirks or overwhelming beliefs that they always acted on—no, they felt human, like proper literary fiction instead of genre fiction (not that there's anything wrong with the latter). Their emotions were also well described, and plenty of imagery was given to them which may not have been something groundbreaking but it was well done.
