This production is of the quality to become one of the cult classics of the harem genre in the future—a complete masterpiece. Even though it doesn't have a very original premise, it's successful in of how the story is handled and the plot structure. It's not an extreme success, but it can definitely be considered "good."

The most important thing that sets this harem production apart from others is how well the world settings are arranged. As someone who has watched hundreds of harem anime and read several of its manga, I can say this: the common problem in most harem works is the presence ... of "unjustified and exaggerated interactions." What I mean is that in harem stories, relationships between characters form and develop incredibly fast, even though there's no clear reason—or the reason is too unnecessary to be considered valid.

However, in this series, the fact that only women can gain power in the world, makes the entire cast being female justified, and Kyouka's ability being based on a "reward" principle, all provide a logical foundation for Yuuki's interactions with the female characters. Thanks to this, the sense of artificiality disappears, making it a much more enjoyable work to watch/read.

If I had to offer a negative critique, it's that Yuuki is a bit too ive as a main character and not very interesting. While this is understandable since he lives in a society where men are ive, it would have been far more impactful if he reflected a bit more of the male nature.

Hello there. So I came here to tell you my thoughts about the manga that may help you to decide if you want to spend your time reading this. First let me suggest you reading the first 5 volumes + first 2 chapters of volume 6 of the manga before watching the first anime season .

Mato Seihei no Slave is simple series and by that I mean there is not hidden stupid drama like NTR,obnoxious friends and problems that the characters may have that will make you cringe every 5 seconds . I won't bother with details because the Synopsis here on mal tell ... you everything you need to know about the general concept of this series. What I am here to tell is that this manga is a harem series not like the To Love Ru type of harem of course but the classic and loved recipe that contains a story of male character that is liked by many females. But romance is not the main focus of this story but an aspect that is used for character building for both our main male protagonist Yuuki and the females of the main and ing cast. This story focuses on two things, battles and erotic/ecchi/fanservice situation. Let me briefly tell you about both these main aspects:

Battles:
First let me give a small and friendly warning. If you came here to watch super detailed fighting scenes that focuses on strategies etc you most likely won't be satisfied. The fights even if they are not detailed, they are still well made and the powers of the different female characters are interesting and the mangaka both in the manga and and in the anime doesn't rely on bouncy boobies or panty shots to make the fights appealing/interesting. I personally think the fights here are perfect for an adventure, fantasy ecchi series because most of times different mangaka rely on fanservice in fights which makes them kinda boring and bland after a while.


Fanservice:
When it comes to fanservice and especially fanservice in the Mato Seihei no Slave series there is no grey area and by that I mean you are either gonna like it or it is gonna make you uncomfortable. I probably gave the wrong impression with the previous sentence so let me explain myself better. The fanservice of this series is not just some titties or panty shots. I won't go into details but the fanservice contains full submission from the female characters aka humiliation , moderate fetishes and hot lengthy kisses. Of course this is not a pornographic anime (aka hentai) and it doesn't contain extreme things like attempted or full rape scenes like extreme scenes in manga like redo of healer, Goblin Slayer etc but I know, no offense that some odd people out there are deeply offended for ...reasons so I thought I should be honest. Aka this series doesn't use situations with retarded poor shock value intention to attract the viewer. It is fun but be sure to read at least 10 chapters to judge.

Characters:
I think the characters are very well written. They may rely on cliche tropes sometimes but they always evolve and that always make them interesting. What I like the most is how they always know what they want and they don't whine about every little problem. The enemies so far have not been very good explained but I believe the problem will be solved eventually

Art:
Takemura sensei did a godly work with the art. I love everything about it . What I think he did best were the proportions of the bodies of all the characters. Most of the times in ecchi manga they shove some big titties and call it a day but in this case the faces, body types , angles don't feel like some low budget LNs games. The different characters feel unique and I personally can see the mangaka chose this artist to make this manga's art. Perfect. No problems

In conclusions manga series like Mato Seihei no Slave are the epitome of having realistic/certain expectations -> you are gonna have a great time with it. I think the mangaka did a great job balancing fanservice, good stories. Be sure to (if you can) the creators of the manga by buying the volume of this series. Chained Solider is a stupid and sexy battle ecchi that is more fun than it ought to be. Its story is engaging, if not a bit weak in some areas, it regulates its ecchi scenes, and has some genuinely cool and clear battle s.

First, if you are struggling with porn use or are not comfortable seeing nude female bodies, this manga will not help and you shouldn't read it. The author intentionally tries to include at least one scene per chapter, so there is a lot of exposure. For this reason, I can't 'recommend' this manga.

While most readers may not be primarily interested in ... the story, the author understands that something needs to keep the readers interested in between "rewards". The world of Mato and characters of Mato are pretty interesting and, in of genre, there's a nice mix of interorganizational competitiveness, conspiracy, standard world-ending stakes, and slice-of-life/romance/ecchi nonsense.

Regarding the "rewards" of the manga, they are not overdone and the author notes that they consciously try to not make them distracting or interrupt the flow of battles or narrative elements, which is respectable.

Structurally, the manga is usually 3 - 5 s per page, so it gives the author room for big, hype, and impressive sequences. More often than not, the author succeeds giving their characters badass moments of triumph. Tenka and Kyouka stand out above the rest, though not to diminish their comrades.

This is an ecchi, so there is not of lot of 'downtime' to care about the characters deeply, which is a shame. Closely related, the low number of s doesn't give a ton of room for subtlety, which obviously isn't the point of the manga, but does affect emotional attachment to the characters. However, each character is given some time to be more than a pair of boobs so there is something more for you to root for. Some plot elements have been awkward, but not too distracting. In my opinion, Tenka does steal the show after her introduction, which is a bit disappointing to an extent because at its core it is Kyouka and Yuuki's story.
