Literally enjoyed this manhua about a happy go lucky handsome vampire coming into the life of a fragile girl who is extremely bullied just because her mum is a witch. Honestly lads, this manhua was one of the best I've ever read in 2020.

This manhua was a definite read now for me because of this coronavirus crisis trying to turn our lives upside down.....


BUT ANYWAY LET'S TAKE A U turn. Basically lads, we all need someone like Fetechou in our lives whether we have an extremely bad day or just want someone to talk to. Himself and Naerim was very cute together. ... I liked the fact there is no extreme drama within the two but only just one argument and that was it. I loved the couple so much like omg when they are together , my heart literally melts like a candle wax, it was just so captivating y'all!

I gotta give it to Narae Lee for the great art, story , character's and everything else in this manhua. Fairplay to her in making this unique type of romance manhua come true!!!!!

With story arcs guaranteed to make you cry, I really loved this series. I initially discovered it on a snapchat ad and thought "mmm why not? it's been a while since I read anything." It was my first manhwa on Pocket Comics and I quite enjoyed every arc. I ended up falling in love with the main character's personal growth in embracing her culture, which was something that resonated deeply with me. She starts off really meek and ashamed, which was painful to watch but like... It's a key component that affects all aspects of her life. Everything the main character encounters has to do ... with the fact that she's a shaman's daughter and that she needs to fight her demons. The art style seems typical for your average rom-com, but it suits the story well. There are points where the storytelling can feel hazy, but that's where you gotta turn on your cognitive dissonance and enjoy the story for what it is: a rom-com.
Now, I say the story is rom-com because of the main character and ML's situation, but the story does a pretty good job covering topics of severe bullying, anxiety, panic attacks, abuse, and other power dynamics.
I grew to love the Male Lead even if he's a bit fickle.

Honestly, i am disappointed, they never explained what Laszlo's story was, the red haired guy was suddenly cut off from the story, we never learned what Jina's motives were for insulting Naerim one last time, Roxanna's story ended like all that build up was a pile of bullshit, Mina never really meant something to this story, the music band idea was thrown out the window just like the Naerim-writes-novels idea, the lovely chubby lady was treated like she didn't exist for the ending of this, it was never explained why Fetechou's mom was what he first thought of when he saw Naerim, Roxanna was kinda ... just shoved in there so this would be longer, Naerim's mother became a nobody... All in all, this was all fine and dandy in the beginning but afterwards it felt like the writer just switched to a totally different story. A whole lot a bullshit.
