Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu 2nd Season

After an eventful winter break, Kyoutarou Ichikawa and Anna Yamada reunite with a stronger bond. They continue to grow in their own ways, with Yamada taking on more challenging photoshoots and Ichikawa maturing both physically and emotionally as he tackles his affections for Yamada. However, spending time together outside of school allows for their relationship to deepen, and it becomes increasingly difficult to deny their budding romantic feelings.

Grappling with these unexpected and new emotions, Ichikawa and Yamada realize that, with the age of time, their relationship is bound to change—and they must ultimately decide whether they wish to remain close friends or finally become a couple.

A Perfect Sequel to a Perfect Love Story
Season 2 of Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu is everything I hoped for—and more. It takes all the emotional depth, charm, and heartfelt moments from Season 1 and pushes them even further, creating one of the most sincere and beautifully written romance anime I’ve ever seen.

What truly stands out is how naturally everything progresses. The characters feel more mature, their bond grows deeper, and the emotional impact of even the smallest scenes is incredibly powerful. Every moment feels earned, and nothing ever feels rushed or overdone. It’s quiet, subtle, and deeply moving in a way that’s rare ... in the romance genre.

Visually, it’s stunning. The animation is smooth, expressive, and full of little details that bring the characters and their world to life. The art direction and character expressions are top-tier. The music also continues to be a perfect match for the tone, enhancing every scene without overpowering it.

What I love most is how real it all feels. The emotions, the pacing, the interactions—it’s all so genuine. You’re not just watching a love story unfold; you’re experiencing it with the characters.

My Final Words:

Mixed Feelings

Anime bem legalzinho, mas é só isso, na verdade fui até generoso em dar uma nota 7, o anime conta com um design bom, a animação pra esse tipo de anime até que é consistente, porém eu esperava mais pela nota alta do MAL, o protagonista é muito denso, e pra mim é o ponto baixo dessa obra, a heroína e os bons momentos de comedia e o final são o que salvam a obra porque o personagem principal é deplorável, é legal ver o crescimento dele, mas nossa, ainda sim é muito ruim. Dito isso, não esperem muita coisa, pelas notas eu esperava ... muito mais....

Pretty cool anime, but that's it. In fact, I was generous enough to give it a 7. The anime has a good design, the animation is actually quite consistent for this type of anime, but I expected more from MAL's high score. The protagonist is very dense, and for me that's the low point of this work. The heroine, the good moments of comedy and the ending are what save the work because the main character is deplorable. It's nice to see his growth, but wow, it's still really bad. That said, don't expect much. Judging by the scores, I expected much more....

This anime had so much potential to be decent. I don't seem to understand how it's so highly rated. It has similarities to the anime my dress up darling, the only difference is the male lead in this anime is absolutely terrible. He has no particular gimmick that helps him stand out since this story line has been used so many times. He's the average frail anti social kid portrayed as the lead protagonist that's on a self journey of personal growth and finding love eventually. They could of made half the storyline better by sprucing up the male lead, you can literally copy ... and paste any other male protagonist that's worth the watch and plug it in here and it would work just as good if not better. None of the characters blend and mesh together due to the inadequate male lead. I dont get how this anime is higher rated than as some other animes in the same exact feild with far less praise from critics, with a better blend of personality and intrigue than this one.
