Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart

Nora Handa is a boy who lives with Shachi Yuuri, who was adopted by his mother. With everyone ing, the two of them grew up healthily even after their parents ed away. Shachi, who likes Nora the most, wakes him up every morning.

Nora spends his happy student life with Michi Kuroki, who is a disciplinary committee, honor student at school and childhood friend of the main character, Yuuki Asuhara, who is a gal but is very bright and can talk his worries to, and more friends at school.

One day, Nora meets a girl who calls herself Patricia at the park on the way to the school. Patricia is a queen at hell, and claims to come here to destroy the life on land. However, she is damaged heavily because she touched the life for the first time. The energy was stronger than her, so Nora needed to tend her. Patricia asked him to tell her about the mysteries of life, and he had to even explain the ero book that he found at the park...?!

The anime is an unforgettable experience that will leave you baffled and bewildered. Nothing makes sense at all, but suddenly everything makes complete sense. The anime comprises of 12, 3 minute shorts with individual plot-lines, although with enough creativity they all link together. Animations are smooth and generally look great although made on a budget.

By episode 6, the studio released it was running out of budget and decided to make a couple cutbacks but still managed to deliver a quality and creative episode. The studio saved their money for episode 9. Arguably an experience not even money can buy.

10/10 would die again

Mixed Feelings

Take everything that you're expecting from this anime from the synopsis.

Then throw it out the window.

This anime isn't about anything that it said in the synopsis. It's about silly scenarios and random ideas played out in interesting ways. There are no real plot or characters that matter. The animation isn't very good. But really none of that is important. Nor is its failure to meet the synopsis. That's not what it's trying to do.

It's trying to be weird funny skits. And personally, I think it succeeds at that. Compared to other shows in the same genre/idea such as Teekyuu and Ai Mai Mi, I feel ... like it shows a greater variety of ideas and surprises me more often. I feel like it's able to vary up its own jokes and ideas more often as well. And so personally I'd consider one of the better shows in that genre/idea.

And so if you like that stuff I'd consider it a worthwhile show to watch. Don't go into it for whatever is written down in the synopsis, go into it for the random comedy skits. They're quite well done.

[MasterCard: “Priceless” Visual Novel Promotion]

(W-Toon Studios and DMM.futureworks decide to make a 10-30 hour long visual novel into twelve 4 minute episodes. This is how they accomplished it.)

Hire a script writer to create a story about a boy who turned into a cat because of a girl named Patricia of End, and to turn back into human is with a kiss –– $1000

Hire another writer to create many uninspiring and forgettable characters with no depth, background, or development –– $500

Hire a flash animator to create some good animations, and decent background scenes, but unfortunately have all your character models appear like bobbleheads –– ... $2500

Hire professional voice actresses, and create an impressive one minute opening/intro –– $3000

Realizing the actually story lasts up to episode 3 and a bit in episode 11 and 12, and the remaining episodes are a bunch of disted random events (e.g. burning house, tank, beach event, game show, robot fights, fireworks, murder mystery: visual novel style, etc) –– another $3000

Learning the studio ran out of budget money at episode 6, and thus making the viewers watch realistic cam footage of goats dubbed with the main characters’ voices –– Priceless

There are some things money can’t buy, for everything else there’s MasterCard.
