Diabolik Lovers

At the behest of her father, Yui Komori goes to live in a secluded mansion, home to the six Sakamaki brothers—Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru—a family of vampires. Though at first the siblings are confused as to why the girl has arrived, they soon realize that she is to be their new "sacrificial bride," not to mention their other, more carnal intentions for her. After meeting the brothers, Yui quickly begins to question why her father would have sent her here and why she feels a strange, new pain in her chest. With each brother more sadistic than the last, Yui's life as a captive takes a harrowing turn in her new home. As her days turn into endless nights, and each brother vows to make her his own, Yui falls deeper and deeper into madness and ecstasy.

This is the best worst adaptation of anything I've ever watched.

I never played the original games but for some unknown reason that even I can't explain nor , I decided to watch both seasons TWICE, although the second time I watched it with a friend and I gotta say, I had a blast.

The story, the direction and the characters are terrible. If I think of it, the only thing I probably liked was the voice acting bcs I know most of the voice actors from previous animes. However, the fact that I watched it with someone who has the same sense of humor as me ... and that's sarcastic 24/7 made this experience very enjoyable. We laughed every episode from beginning to end and joked about everything that happened while trying to predict what stupid move the mc would do next.

I guess you get it by now, but you, the person reading this, are not suppose to take this review seriouslly. It's more like a bad joke that I find funny. Also, I like to entertain the tought that some people (maybe a lot) will be mad because of my rating, even though it doesn't really matter.

Mixed Feelings

It's what you expect from a otome anime adaption, it just doesn't really work because of the many routes... Also I know a lot of people had a issue with the plot because everything about it is morally fucked but personally I kinda like the idea, its just I had a big issue with the main character... We had little insight about how she was feeling, every scenario doesn't feel like it's ACTUALLY from the perspective of the MC as the scenes don't portray just how scary and traumatizing it is (Kinda makes it hard to relate and understand the MC), each past event also ... feels like it didn't really happen because in the next scene/episode they just act like nothing happened, and last complaint is it could've been better if we had a stronger, dominant MC to be that voice of reason and to put the male leads in place... I just feel like if they focused less on the romance, more on the emotions this would've worked out much better for the anime, thats all i gotta say! bye!

This anime is incredibly bad omg. I don't have high standards let alone for this kind of anime, I feel like the idea behind could have been fun? What a waste. I finished watching it bc it's short and easy to watch once you get used to the stupid ass dynamic. I mean, I expected to see some hot anime guys being sadistic but this anime really failed to make me feel anything at all. The first chapters I was like, well this is just bullying? Poor girl. But then the initial repulsion I felt vanished completely, that girl is just pathetic. So, I can't ... even say I feel repulsed by it, this is plain water, I'll forget about it tomorrow.
