My favourite romance anime is Fruits Basket, but others I love are Clannad, Chihayafuru, Princess Tutu, Your Lie in April and Kanon! I hope to be able to Kare Kano and Kodocha at some point, but they are not accessible to me as of now. (I have seen the Kare Kano anime though.) And at the moment, I am enjoying Summer Pockets and looking forward to The fragrant flower blooms with dignity next season. I love watching two characters grow closer over time ^^ Nice to meet you! Hi! I was wondering if you watched Gokinjo Monogatari's anime and if you recommend it, because I just read the manga.
Sure, I'll let you know when I watch the third season of Kimi ni todoke :) I really liked ao no hako, the animation is great and so is the story, although I stand for chono instead of chinatsu </3 Currently I'm watching kowloon generic romance, kusuriya no hitorigoto and re-watching frieren. Also just started watching witch watch and had lots of fun with the first two episodes. What about you? Saw you completed honey, how was it? |

Today I finished watching Fruits Basket, and yes, it has become one of my favorite anime.
It was a very special story—it gave me a mix of humor, calmness, and sadness. I was also surprised by the amount of suspense, especially from the second season onward. The ending left me quite satisfied, though I felt some things were a bit rushed... I have to read the manga; I’ll do it when I can. It was truly a unique and deeply emotional story... I loved it. |

Yeah second anime I ever watched was Love, Chuunibyou & Other Delusions! then another 2 early on were Angel Beats! and Charlotte which led me to watching AIR and Clannad (I only played Kanon's VN and watched it for the first time last year for some reason, holds up almost perfectly imo). Clannad (as well as being a life changing masterpiece) made me realize the two genres I liked the most were romance and drama despite most of the time disliking them in other mediums (some exceptions)

exactly, i think kodomo no omocha should be seen at least once in a lifetime, it was part of my childhood like marmalade boy, i love the old style, idk how but i feel the characters closer, they almost seem more "human", i don't question the beautiful graphics of today, but the old ones involve me much more. I had never found anyone who had seen these animes in all this time, which are also my favorites, I would like to talk about them more honestly. anyway don't worry, I'm also replying quite late

Of course. Started trying to collect all physical limited editions for Key, found Summer Pockets, 1st Beat and Rewrite+Harvest Festa so far. Also first time I've seen another person with ef that high on their favourites, severely underrated anime really want to get the english physical of the VN someday

My favorite anime is Clannad... for me it's the best drama and romance anime.

I should make a list to say all the ones I like, but the one I'm most fond of is Toradora, when I'm bored, or when I'm in a bad mood it's the first one I think of, but I would also tell you Your Lie in Apri, It left such a mark on me that I never watched it again. and the last one is lovely complex, is one of my all time favorites, I love the old style. what about you?

I absolutely loved Suzuka, I do think the series did Honoka dirty because with slight biast she was 100% the best girl in my eyes. However, that’s a trend with me that the best girl almost never wins 🙃 - I do love older anime series but I haven’t found one lately that’s been too interesting with the exception of The Familiar of Zero (loving that show btw). Think the last one I watched was Venus Versus Virus and I lost interest in that series around episode 6. Animes like Clannad, Air and Kanon are still spectacular though.
For me I just watch whatever looks interesting. For example I couldn’t get into Frieren when almost everyone loves that show. Same with Demon Slayer. I like my isekais, rom/coms, slice of life and mystery the most. I finished erased a few months ago and I binged that in one sitting because every episode had me hooked. Same with Charlotte and the Duke of death. |
