I like Luke as a protagonist, he's not my favorite character but I can appreciate him, but even I hate his character in the Last Jedi. He turn from a hero into a coward. I just think Rian Johnson just couldn't make a good film at all as even if Luke's character was correct, there are still hundreds if not thousands of plot holes.
I'm sorry that you have that, but I can understand that since I also relate to Shinji a lot. I relate to him for how he struggles to connected to others, how everyone uses him, and how I also don't really like myself. I also like Rei for how kind but also relaxing her presence is, but I would choose Kaworu no matter what.
You are very lucky for finding them, and I prefer L as I think his justice is the correct one.
What's your least favorite anime, do you recommend the Lord of the Ring, do you read any books, and what do you think of the Rebuilds?
